Tula Institute is a gem!

Well, there's nothing like a special motivation or inspiration to do it. MBA was my ultimate goal and because of that I have decided to do this course. Luckily we have got the professors who are also helping us with entrance studies so more than course for me it's the professors because of whom I feel I have selected the right course.

Tula Institute has a policy where students have to have a severe training during the second year. Communication skills and all are very important for a engineering student and we are taught that in the training program. So finally comes the placements and around half the batch is seen getting placed every year from our college.

For B.Tech the fees is only 1.5 lakhs and because I have availed a scholarship all I paid is 1.36 lakhs. The same fees is for the hostles and some expenses here and there makes it to 3 lakhs a year to study and live at Tula's campus.

Campus is quite beautiful and also greenery is a natural gift in Dehradun and our campus too is wrapped in that. Out of 22 acres of land in which our campus is built more than half are with trees and gardens. Our campus is supreme as buildings are equipped with facilities like never seen before. Even our fest Sanskriti is hosted by celebrities and politicians as in the name chief guest we have a celebrity invited every year.

Hostel rooms are clean and washrooms are inside each room. So common washrooms concept is not there in AC rooms as there are two hostel blocks of Non AC rooms and in that though there are common washrooms. Mess is there and a vegetarian mess is there as well.

I applied at Symbiosis Pune and Christ University as well. Christ I was getting admission but then there fees was 4 times what I am paying here. So, after giving a full math in how I can recover the cost of my academics and also have a value purchase in terms of academics and thereafter.

At Tula faculties are quite heavy in numbers and it's specifically because students too are quite heavy as well. By heavy i mean in numbers but university have been not a miser as they have hired the best in business and that too, too many. Professor Sant Madaan is my favourite as he himself is IIM Ahmedabad passed out and along with engineering, he also helps students who are preparing for CAT or other MBA exam entrances.

Our college has every single facility like a modern gym a large cafeteria and above all a library which is very spacious. We can access both the central library as well as the departmental library. For hangouts Mussoorie is just 25 kms so we mostly hang out there.
