Course Curriculum Overview

4

this college basically focus on the curriculum and nothing more than this is important for them so i chose this college . this college helps in building carrer and real - world application based research facilities are avilable for all students . I think improvement in the building and some basic facilities in college campus would be great . Exam timings are as follows :- they take exam in the month of may and october as even and odd semester exam . Difficulty level is avg. but very difficult for those who don't read .

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees taken by the college - 800000 tution fees per sem in sem 1 - 68000 2nd sem - 58000 127000 in first year 124000 in second year 124000 in third year 124000 in fourth year total fees taken by college in 4 years - 5 lakh rupees those who take hostel and mess facilities can add 3 lakh to the total fees so fees including hostel and mess facilities are 800000 rupees . all fees are same for all students of all category . for sc st waiver is there in hostel of rs. 5k scholarship are according to the state .

Campus Life

5

The name of annual fest is JANAGANI. It happens in the month of december every students participate in the quizzes and games and other technical and non - technical programs . Books and libraries are accessible and affordable as it access all the books related to our curriculum and journals are also there where all necessary journas are available in the library . Classrooms are loaded with all necessary gadgets like projectors, cctv, digital board. Sports and extracurricular activities are also offered in our campus . we have our own sports room where all equipments are there related to all sports . Student run clubs are also there like mlsa , microsoft club, gfg club, e -cell etc.

Hostel Facilities

5

Room facilities are good as they give us table, chair, bed, matresses, wifi facilities, water cooler and almirah. Food quality is good in starting but after few months quality reduces by 10 times so meal quality is not so good . Menu was same for night like daal, chawal, roti, sabji etc. and only breakfast are so good because they give aalu puri , poha , daliya , chhole bhature ,etc. in evening only on sunday we get good food like paneer and gulab jamun . registration process is very easy jsut fill the form and pay all the fees of 1 year and then they allot you the room . Ashirwad hostel the pg under 2k for living is good enough but they should charge only 1200 . They are charging too more than the facilities .

Admission

I have applied for colleges nearby my locality but also appeared for jossa and csab counselling and in the csab 2nd round i got this college . I don't that much of percentile such that i can get a nit so i chose this college . I get many rejection from other colleges because in jossa round i don't even got a single college so i have taken admission in this college. Admission in this college is taken by giving the JEE Mains exam and in csab round mostly there is a chance to get this college . Cuttoffs is not so high for this college but as the year goes cutoffs for this college is becoming very high .

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio is very good because they support their students in every situation in and out of the curriculum . They are very serious about the students . They are very approachable because whenever we need our faculties they help out to clear our problem . Amresh sir i like, he helps me in clearing my all doubt . I don't like the faculty who always ask for money and never talk about the curriculum his name is mayank aggrawal but sometime he behaves like a good professor . Exams are taken by the college in the month of may and october . Two semester they take in a year . Questions are not so difficult . It is easy to maintain 8+ cgpa in the college .

Night Life

5

Open gym are there with the cafeterias and library . Timing for all this are like:- GYM timing - 6:00 AM to 8 :00 PM Cafeterias timing - 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM Library timing :- 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Hostel timing starts from 5:00 AM and gate closed at 10:00 PM Campus timing starts from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Famous hangout place in my college is our cafeterias where we chilled and eat . In night, we walk in our hostel campus where we can sit with our friend and talk freely .

Placement Experience:

Placements of GEU are like literal fun because they are absolutely fine and every student atleast gets an opportunity to try his luck. So what more needed if that happens as placements is what we work hard for and our university rewards really well to us. Students here get placements in dream companies like Microsoft and Amazon.

Room for placements can't be better than GEU. As our department which isn't much in demand and still over 80% of placements rate itself is a story worth telling. I am so glad that it is happening and this is the reason I feel so good studying here as I can't do more as placements care are taken by the university very well.

It's in the final year as once the final year begins, students are asked to pull their socks up and go limitless as nearly 100 or rather much more are there at the campus and interest in CSE students is the highest. Also, there's a large section of IT students who are placed from GEU every year and that too without much of an effort.

At our university, campus placements are for real the best. Hundreds of companies have networked with us and all of them have been very regular in our university. Companies which have visited are also increasing every year and students percentage of getting placed and getting better packages is also getting better.

One of the best thing I saw here is placement. If a student is willing to do job then this college is appropriate place from him or her.. Students are placed in IT , SALES , FINANCE, EDTECH , TRANSPORT, DRUGS , etc Students are eligible for jobs and placed from the beginning of pre final semester and can apply in each and every company as per required skills. Not big tech Faang companies visit the campus but a decent level IT companies and limited visit the campus. And conduct their interviews and exams process. Although interview rounds are tough and offcourse nail biting competition among the students. The highest package this year till now 34 LPA by an American MNC . Average package is 550000. Approximately 90 percent students got placed in different domains and fields. My plans are so clear. I will take the job first in IT companies and get some experience on ground level and will grow further.

Pringle, The Sleep Co, Lenskart, Luscious, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Google, Facebook and every tech company which potentially can come have come to our college for placements. On and average placements worth 6-40 LPA are common. Since some students miss out so on a whole the placements average stands a little below 10 LPA.

One don't have to go round and round as placements are done well within the time as most students here are placed by 7th semester. Those who left behind can try their luck on day zero as we have mass companies coming for a 3 day event and hire as many as they can.

The placements of this particular college are not good as much as i have heard about the placements of this university's before batches. They are still fighting and trying to get better placements for the senior batches which I wish they get it done, or i dont know what will happen in my time. The 7th or 8th semester is the one from which the students become eligible for campus placements. The name of the companies which offered were TCS, Infosys, HCL, Amazon, ICICI Bank etc. the average package of the college is about 4-5 LPA. Onlu 50-60% of the students or lesser are getting placements in the college. My plans are to do Mtech afterwards i complete my btech course in this college.
