GEU means greatness!

Our course is good as there are many other specialists course of CSE branches are there but i still chose core. The only reason for that was that it had everything and majorly the programming languages as that it why I chose this course. Programming is important for every thing in tech for building and for that our course was adept.

DRDO, to ISRO our students get first hand opportunities to intern there and that too for three months. Many students of our university in their third year do go for intenrships. Deloitte and Tech Mahindra also invited students from our university for internships and 25-30k stipend was offered to them.

Over 90 lakh has been given to a student of GEU and that didn't just made the headlines but also made GEU among the niche universities. Around 70% students of the university have placements as placement cell keep sending what's app forward of the interviews. One has to though enroll himself/herself there to be eligible for the same.

Graphic Era University is Uttarakhand's largest university of Uttarakhand and is also one of the largest in North too. Fees for CSE is highest here as for Core CSE it is 5 lakhs a year here. There are scholarships worth 10-50% available as if you are from an Army family, you get 15% scholarship. If you are applying under sports quota you get 20% scholarship, so likewise there are many scholarships which are available here.

Campus is not one but multiple as from Church Road to Clement Town Police Station, the university has its building. Like parking is at the start of the campus and then opposite of it is the main campus. The main campus has an underground tunnel which takes to the tech campus. Right next to it is the nursing college building and that is how it is. We also have various fests and events but the main GRAFEST.

Admission are through direct counselling. Entrance paper is handed for those who wants scholarships and based on that score scholarships are provided. I applied at some other private universities of Dehradun but because I felt GEU is the best because I interacted with students of the other universities too and everyone agreed that for better placements and a ademics, GEU is one up than the others.

At GEU there are so many faculties for CSE as it has the batch size of over 850 for CSE nearly 50-60 faculty members are there. It's as if one thing is not challenging they will throw another challenge on us as the brightest students of the university are recommended by them for intenrships. They also help students learn beyond the syllabus and that is why they are favourite's of the ones who are serious about their studies.

Our college has a gym which is in campus and then there are three off campus hostels too. Girls hostels are off campus and timing for all the hostels are same which is 7.30 pm for girls and 9 pm for boys. Nearby there are many cafes and juice centres as our university is in Clement Town which is a busy area of Dehradun. We do have cafes like Raasta Cafe and Nurture Cafe which are quite amazing.
