Course Curriculum Overview
Many dynamics related to Aeronautics are taught in our course and therefore our course is very tough. However, I won't complain as I wanted to study tough physics and our course has most physics in it. Exams level too are very difficult as our course has limited number of classes and it's all practicals otherwise.
Placement Experience
Ours is a government based program as many things comes in Aeronautics but ours is related to defense and therefore defense manufacturing names like BEML, BEL, and HAL are the top names where students of BSC (Aeronautics) in GEU will be placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am Kritika and enrolled in a cours in GEU which is rare. My course which i have opted is BSc in Aeronautics and fees that students in this course which they have to pay is 2,75,000 per year. It is paid in 2 tranche and hostel fees or 2,10,000 is also paid in two tranche. Hardly any scholarships as GEU is a private entity.
Campus Life
Our technical festival is meant for tech students as we are not allowed to participate in that. In the cultural fest GRAFEST though we have innumerable activities and dande and DJ the top. So, infrastructure and activities both ho hand in hand here as both are in same colours and that is colour blue.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms have ACs, laundary and fans. Best beds and furniture too because our university believes in safety therefore in time may be harsh but safety wise our hostel is indeed the best. Outpass are also given after parents permission on Video Call.
Admission
I applied at GEU for Aeronautical Engineering and I had admission confirmed too. Then during counseling we were told about this course and I was happy that this course is there which is fully practical and also 3 years instead of 4. I changed my guard and took admission in this course which was granted directly.
Faculty
GEU program are designed with consultation with faculties and therefore the major prominent faculties are brought. This way the cours becomes relevant and the ones who are teaching us also know what to teach. Professor Abhigyan Gupta who has recently joined is my personal favourite as he has seved in DRDO.
Night Life
Night life is grey as Dehradun isn't that happening town and the area Clement Town top starts fading after 10 pm. There are various hangout places in our college and outside definitely have plenty more as well. Gym and cafeteria of university are average but off campus we have plenty of better options.
