Campus, Nainital, SSJ Campus, Almora, and Campus at Bhimtal. More than 65 affiliated colleges to Kumaun University including 49 government colleges.

Kumaun University Admissions

Admission to all UG courses except B.Ed and LLB is done based on the merit of the 10+2 examination. Admission to B.Ed and LLB is based on Kumaun University Entrance Examination.

Admission to all PG courses is based on the merit of a Bachelor's degree. The bachelor's degree must be from a recognized university. Admission to M.Ed and MBA is done through the Kumaun University Entrance Exam. MBA selection is done on the basis of entrance exam or through merit.

For admission to Ph.D. courses, the candidate must have a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate from a recognized university. Selection is done by the Research Degree Entrance Test (RDET).

The University offers the Sahu Jain Trust Scholarship to the meritorious students. It is merit-based and given to the students in need. The scholarship ranges between INR 2,500 to INR 25,000 yearly.

Hostel: The university has separate girls and boys hostels with good infrastructure. There are outdoor and indoor games under sports facilities. The hostels have a power generator for a 24*7 electricity supply. The hostel is well maintained giving a comfortable atmosphere to students.

Likes

The faculty of college was very good and the faculty was very experienced and very very well red and the infrastructure was also good and the classrooms were well decorated.
The college conducted many programs of for the Awareness of the children's like the NSS Scheme the NCC that have the student their personality.
Students were given many opportunities to participate in very sports and the students are doing a much better than other college students and also represent the college at national level.

Dislikes

The washrooms of the college are not hygienic
The library legs many books that are needful for competition and other examinations
The location was of the college is at a very height and some students who are not physically agile feel some discomfort in reaching the college

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

I choose discourse because I I want to serving nation a civil servant and For going into the civil services field you must have a good knowledge of humanity subjects There are some areas where the University needs to Improve its curriculum and teaching methods like and the the periods of the classes should be regular and There should be a revised syllabus. Every 6 months there is semester exams and if you have you have attended emperor of classes so you can easily crack them

Yearly fees structure of the course and scholarship

The yearly fees was divided into two semesters. The fees for the first semester was rupees 2100 and the fees for the rest of the semester was rupees 700 and you have to pay in additional rupees 500 for 1st semester and rupees 1000 for semester exam fee. Some of the scholarships were available for financial aid like the student of BCA was and was given a scholarship of rupees 27000 for 1 year and the students of Bachelor of Physical Education where were given a sum of rupees 30000 approximately.

The college conducts a annual fest every year. The college GB Pant library which head a numerous books of the courses that you are doing and you can access them anytime during the college hours and in the classrooms you can access to Wi-Fi the college Wi-Fi and you can participate into sports and going to sports anytime and contact to the physical Education Department Head and you can also run your own clubs or students and you can upload whatever the needful is whatever is needed to the

Faculty and learning experience in the campus

The faculties is average and experienced. There are there is Professor at every 50 students and you can directly approach to the faculty and make your dots clear and I like the economics faculty most because economics was one of my subjects in my bachelor of art and difficulties very helpful and you can you can approach them anytime the faculty of chemistry is the only faculty that I do not lie because they are they are not approachable and everyone feeds like they are not helpful there is exam every 6 months semester exams and one subject consists of two papers and one paper consists of 55 marks

Why student choose this college?

The reason behind chosense college because it is one of the top 50 universities in India and in our region and it was at is and I was left in other colleges to but I should this college because it is one of the it is one of the ancient universities and Berry would invested and faculty member is very accident so I choose this university and there is a simple admission process investing you have to just make a registration of rupees 50 and after registration yourself into the University website you just have to submit your documents and verify yourself in front of the admission members and that's it

I doesn't choose this college in my first priority cause I'm taking admission in DELHI UNIVERSITY but that time the CUET result is not announced and I think that NTA is making us fool and scaming the students so that's why I take admission in DSB CAMPUS NAINITAL but still this college is very good and beautiful surrounded in the lap of nature

Everything in our campus is superb and specific. The department is Very hygienic and beautifully furnished and maintenaned.
Our college conduct many seminar for students welfare.

Admission:

I prefer to study in this college as it has all the facilities a biotechnology student need like the lab which are fully cleaned and maintained, the instrument, the machineary and all the facilities. The other reason is it's a government college and I will always prefer to study in a government college rather than a private college.

Our college is totally good and welcome all very warmly. All the facilities available here are the best .All the area are fully hygienic and clean, everything is well maintained.
We have the best library and lab facilities .Our lab have the best and advanced machinery. We have all the equipment needed by a biotechnology student or a microbiology student.
The ratio of boys girls is not equal.The strength of girls is higher.

Dislikes

Some more sports items for more variety of games.
Their is nothing that I don't like about our college.

Admission:

The reason for selecting this college is it's maintained decorum, proper hygiene, thier faculty, the lab and library each and everything was fabulous including the beautiful environment. The another reason for selecting this college was it is a goverment college and I would like to study in a goverment college rather than a private college .

As this college was near my home and also it was a government college, I didn't opt for any other colleges but this one. The admission process for this college is very easy , you have to do a online registration and then by visiting college you can get a admission form and after that according to your % in 12th , merit list are announced and if you have your name in that list your admission form is approved and then you can visit the department to fill up the degree form in which you have to submit your documents and board results.
