Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College Garhwal Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course is normal as standardized by the AICTE. The books are same as per the relevant subjects. The library is ill stocked so either borrow the books from seniors or get them from somewhere else. The curriculum doesn't prepare anyone for real world applications. The teaching methods could use a lot of upgradation.

I can suggest the teaching of faculty that they will rude in behaviour and attendance problem this can effect the detained problem of student and the amount of increases very high and the back fees of exam is also high

The placement cell of this college is pretty average i would say the in campus ration is not so good enough for the students like the average packgae here is somewhere around 3 - 4 lakh/annum so some sort of students are placed at good places like google big car brands company

when I was in the final year of my B.Tech only 2 company came to our college for placement like L&T and BEL also I passed out in 2023 so that was the peak of job market recession, so in L&T they took aptitute exam for the student then they said we are not hiring any more. BEL has offered 8 student from our college with the package of 11LPA.

The course curriculum is good because when new students come in the first year, what happens to them is that in the first year, the entire subject is taught to them, but they do not understand what happens to them, they have a build up, the best gets prepared in the college, from the second year, they have separate course subjects, it happens in the first year itself that the children help each other and by seeing each other they can learn how to study the course curriculum and in the course curriculum, we study 40 subjects, out of which don't have assignments, PT, these presentations and in the final year, we have to give a project in one, in the final year there are three collective subjects in subjective subject, meaning a project has to be prepared and shown, so compared, third year is second year and first year

Placement are good this college barch any student that company are good final year student very good opportunity of all student that isa compus placement are good opportunity are student are good that college

From the 6 or 7 semester student become eligible for sitting in placement cell. Many companies from the world come such as tnp, TATA, GOOGLE, rapture biotech etc . The highest package of 10lakh. 40 to 45 percent of students get placement. My plans after getting my degree is to go for high studies in my field of research and scientists.

There comes many companies in our collage but for some specific branches. The mechanical and cse are the two most good branch where company often come and pick students. The name of some companies are adobe,wipro,BEL etc.

Campus placement scenario is not good here but many of my Hard working seniors cracked off campus . Recently campus placement scenario is improving even for lower branches of btech and here ECE branch is quite good for placement.

Well I chose Computer science and Engineering with specialzation in artificial intelligence and machine learning which has a very robust and up to date curriculam including new subjects like deep learning, soft computing, cloud computing and many more which helps prepare students for the future. The Mid sems of Class tests are conducted twice in a semester and End sem examination is conducted at the end of the semester lasting for 15 days.
