JMC-an overall experience

The course curriculum is good and comprehensive, the teachers make it interesting through field visits and more. The curriculum is well taught and prepares you for exams and practicals at the university level at the end of the semester. Internal exams are conducted one month before finals and practicals are conducted as per university guidelines. overall it helps us in revision and preparation.

Accenture has come on campus for final-year placements. many startups also come for internships and offer paid/unpaid 1-6 month internships both offline and online. The pc facilitates these internships and job opportunities through WhatsApp groups

The college fee is 20000 per year and extra fees for exams upto 6-7 subjects through du portal is 1300 per semester. There is christian minority quota in college where christian students are given priority during admission but fees remain same for all. there is no sc, st, obc reservation as far as i know. 20,000 includes academic,practical classes,and other infrastructure fees

There are a lot of societies, events keep happening, and college fests and department fests keep the vibe alive throughout the year. The societies have their fests too so everything is fun and study-balanced. sports event also takes place once a year and attention is given to NGO volunteers as well.

The admission was done through a cuet score. I got 728/800 and jmc was my 7th preference college. The difficulty level is medium and a lot of course-related papers are repeated so there is not a lot of complexity in the preparation or source material. Everything is available at the library also.

The faculty members are great, very educated, and interested in their course of study. all classes are taken seriously and there are barely any missed sessions. if any class is missed it is made sure that next time we make up for it. each teacher is well qualified in their field and approachable for doubts within college hours.
