What Students Say
Likes
- The things i liked would include the academics and the faculty as they were quite helpful and had a thorough knowledge of the fields.
Dislikes
- The things i disliked were the fests and the college events as they were often poorly organized and not much fun.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was outdated i would say but it was still beginner friendly. It does not prepare you much for real world applications. It could be more latest and there is scope for more practical subjects that would be useful after college. The exams were held at regular intervals and were of normal difficulty.
Internships Opportunities
Some companies came depending on the course like Planetspark, ARM worldwide, Zone media etc but werent much popular. They offer minimal stupend like 3 or 5k depending on the internship. The projects were like HR, Managemnt, Tech based roles etc.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible from 5th semester to sit for placements. There were normal companies and some of them were startups. The highest packages were around 12LPA and average was around 4LPA. There were about 65 percent placements. My plan was to get a job after college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the colleges were quite less and it was cheap to get a bachelors from Delhi University. There were also some scholarships available for people who required them. I did take some responsibility but were not awarded any stiped for the same.
Campus Life
There arent much events except an annual fest which is also not that great. There are books available in library related to some courses in college. The facilities were poor and there wasnt mich technological provisions. The sports were not much popular and only some students participated
Admission
The eligibility at that time was merit list so if your nqme came in that you could have applied for the course but its changed now due to CUET. There were some reservations at lower cutoffs. The admission process has been chaned to entrance exams now making it more difficult to get in.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio was fine as there were 5 teachers usually for a class and 44 students so it worked fine. The faculty were trained more as researchers than teachers but were able to teach some subjects. The interactions with teachers were usally good and they were approachable.
