- the experience has been really satisfactory so far it is what i expected it to be, infrastructure is one of the best in delhi university faculty here is nice as well all teachers have PhDs.
- Societies are fairly active but not as renowned as north campus colleges due it being a relatively new college.
- Economics Honours is the top course offered by Delhi University, It is quite in depth and rigorous which is what i expected
Dislikes
- Teachers can be a bit strict sometimes and non cooperative but i guess thats with every other college in DU
- Campus maintanence is decent at best, it can be a whole lot better.
- Location is the biggest drawback and the lack of PG facilities sucks this is mainly the reason why South Campus colleges are not as well regarded as the north cluster
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is really on point, the stuff they teach in this course is relevant and extremely in depth it really widens your perspecitve and understanding of various financial decisions and economic changes and their effects
Internships Opportunities
internship availability is good the highest stipend offered really suprised me and the average is also not bad at all but then again college can only do so much, its on the student themselves what they bring to the table, if you have a lot to bring this college wont limit you.
Placement Experience
placmements season happens in the fourth-fifth semester and placements here is average at best nothing special nothing bad just mediocore big names come here such has deloitte kpmg ey de shaw and bain bcg too.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of the scholarships offered by the college as I didnt avail or look for any. The fee is quite nominal as compared to other colleges, and it also being a government college also pulls down the fees.
Campus Life
Nexus which is organzied by the FAA is arguably the best fest which happens in Delhi University. also societies here are active and the college library is quite satisfactory and has all the books one requires.
Admission
I just applied to delhi university and then this was alloted to me based on my score. I also applied for iimk bms programme for which i cleared the aptitude test but failed at the interview as I was ill at the time and couldnt portray my thoughts well.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is excellent here as compared to other colleges as a smaller batch size means more focus on a particular student which is good. I won't name any faculty but all of them aren't good but most of them are. which is great for a government college.
Night Life
no such nightlife here its near the hotels like taj which is like 500m away from it so not much to do here at night. college closes at 7pm i believe. locality is pretty safe dhaula kuan is quite luxurious and safe but satya niketan which is in front, not so much.
