SVC- the SRCC of South Campus

The course curriculum of B Com (H) is amazingly diverse. The course covers almost every aspect of every field, be it, Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR, Organisational Psychology, Taxation etc., making it the most adaptable course. These subjects are very helpful for post graduation like MBA and further in our jobs. DU, through NEP, has also included practical learning in our modules with labs and tutorials to make it even better.

Every year, the college conducts an Internship Fair, with every student of the college, being eligible for the opportunities. Throughout the year, big firms like Deloitte, EY, Nation with Namo and many govt and private institutes come for recruiting interns with very amazing stipends.

As I have also told before, SVC has a well proven good placement records with Big 4 firms coming almost every year in college. There are also other big names like coming for placement drive alsmog every year. The placement cell is well functioning and the recruitment process is very smooth. The college also has a very good Alumini base in almost every top firm, making it very crucial for placements.

As we all know, Delhi University has the most affordable fee structure out of all. The course fee, when we actually see others, covers literally the whole course in less than even half of what other's annual fees is. The fee structure includes tuition fee, registration fees, the administration fee and other charges which are very justified.

There are countless clubs and committees or societies, as we call, functioning in the college, making it the best college for extra curricular activities or learning beyond books environment. There are good societies, naming, Enactus, Placement Cell, 180 Degrees Consulting, Department Societies and Cultural Societies fining students with necessary practical skills for a good career ahead and giving them the right exposure, needed at college level. The societies also have a very good Alumini base, making it very attractive for students to join.

I chose this college over others because SVC has a good brand name. It is the best college in the South Campus. Also, SVC is near to my place and the location is extremely prime. The college also has an amazing infrastructure over others and also has excellent placements.

As mentioned before, the college has an extremely talented faculty who are well qualified and experts in their domain. The faculty is genuinely helpful and the best out there. They help the students in every way possible. I remember, asking doubts during my exam seasons and my professors were all time online solving all the doubts we had, far even what school teachers did. They have a very strong grasp of their subjects and they are always taking initiatives to make the academic standards of college reach great heights.

The college is located in one of the posh areas of Delhi, making it very safe for night. The nightlife is more of a party culture, with various restaurants and safe party hubs located exactly in front of the college and students enjoying the best time of their lives. There are also affordable options and nearly no crime zone.
