Course Curriculum Overview

Relavent course, it's mechanical engineering so it teaches me about core jobs and their requirements Real world its good. They should change the teaching style and give more time for a particular semester Exams are very difficult

There is no policy for tuition fee increases. In total it will cost me around 12,00,000 INR Financial aids are available only for economically weaker section students, whose family annual income is less than 100000 INR I have taken up roles in clubs, I have been promoted to 2 clubs as a senior member

Campus Life

It's great the campus life, we have night outs and club events I am associated with a coding society and a ngo, so it's good Sports is taken care of, their are events for them and we are encouraged to participate

Admission

You need to have PCM in 12th and complete it with 75% percentage in each of PCM subjects. And clear JEE advanced with a good rank Application form is available on the website of the university that conducts the exam every year. It varies I didn't take any reservation, I am a general candidate. I am a female so I got seat from the supernumerary seats.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is 1:190, the professor rarely focuses on individual students. The faculty and professors are highly learned, got their degrees from premier institutions but they don't know how to teach properly. I interact with my professors on a daily basis because I am interested.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Other colleges I applied for is IIT Delhi because it is nearer to my home and is well reputed college and have a great field in Tech.I opt this college because I am interested in Tech field. I finally chose IIT KGP beacuse it is providing me better branch than IIT Delhi and I got interested in this college beacuse my teacher in myh senior schoo is also from IIT KGP they taught me a lot of stories of there college time and I talked to some seniors of college for admissionb regarding prespective so they advised for IIT KGP.Therefore I chose IIT KGP over IIT Delhi.
