IIT KGP provides the best passage of academics!!

If CSE ka something where most students want to be, even with best of ranks i chose Mechanical engineering as I wanted to hear the noise of the machines. Industrialization happened as mechanical engineers built the industries and that is what is been taught to us. Along with theory we have more practicals as unless the application of it is learned we don't move forward. Hence, IIT Kharagpur is therefore the pioneer when it comes to engineering studies.

Punj Lloyd and likewise many other engineering companies often senda their requirements to our internship cell. Best students with good academic records are hired first and all these companies do realise that we are from IITs and therefore a stipend int he range of 15-25k is also provided to us.

IIT Kharagpur is hub for industries when it comes to hire the work force. Over 500 companies including all the departments are available here and talking about our department from L&T to Patel Engineering all the big firms that needs mechanical engineers never look beyond IIT Kharagpur. Over 90% students are placed and average for Mechanical engineering is less that other departments as it stands at 15 or so lakhs per annum as of 2024.

All the IITs, including ours the fees for students who are from general category is same and that is 350k a year. This includes everything apart from hostel and mess fees. Fo an institution like IIT which sometimes have given the Placements like IIMs the fees to me is very fair.

A campus that is a city in itself as it is built in over 2000 avres of land. 24 canteens are available inside the campus and there are 3 large auditoriums. Almost most of the sports that are played in olympics we have facilities for those. When it comes to fests, our tech fest Kshitij is next to IIt Bombays tech fest. However, when it comes to cultural fest our Spring Fest certainly stands out.

There are 17 boys hostels inside the campus and ours is the largest with a strength of over 500 students. My hostel is three seater hostel and is the cheapest among all as it charges just 54000 a year and in that our mess fees is also included where we are provided proper 3 meals every single day.

I was in top 500 rank in IIT JEE and I could have got any IIT but Kharagpur was my dream and I am living that charm dream. Admission here means no favour or nothing, simply crack the JEE and get here as that is how we all have come here.

A magnificent or enthralling is what I can say about IIT Kharagpur faculties. Most of them are like experienced of decades and are also PHD so their accumen are something which I am certain no one else or no other colleges apart from IITs can even imagine. Their teaching has left a lot of implications and that is why students here can breathe easy as they know their future will be defined well a faculties here have taught them that way.

Our campus itself has over 20 cafeterias but I think a good shop is missing and therefore close to the campus we have a Cafe Coffee Day outlet. When it comes to proper cafes, they are Calcutta 64 and Vintage Cafe. Our hangout spots for weekend though is Digha Beach as most students of our college go there to have a time off campus.
