Course Curriculum Overview

4

Teh curriculum was ofcourse one of the major decision hence I chose it. It has a major impact in my work life. The teaching was good. Only if the practical classes were more frequently conducted instead of the theory.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I am not aware of the internships and have never visited the internships portal so I don't have any knowledge regarding this aspect. Many people whom I know got internship opportunities from external sources that is Off campus.

Placement Experience

3.5

From 3rd semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Various top firm companies like Deloitte, PWC paid visit alongside local companies like Spring river a. The highest package in our department was offered by EXL. Average package offered by companies was around 4 lpa. Around 60-70% of students got placed. My plans is to pursue MTech by cracking the GATE Exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is a bit too much. Yes. I would like to remark this. It can be lowered a bit if it is necessary. Especially the period when the students were hardly required to visit the campus. (For eg, the lockdown period, or the time or Summer Vacation, etc)

Campus Life

4

The fests that were conducted was pretty decent. The Library as mentioned previously vwas pretty decent. I loved it the most. I spent maximum of my time over there coming across various books. The sports was pretty average and wasn't much meant for the PG students.

Admission

The admission process was smooth. It took place during the COVID period so it was held online. The application form was available in their website sxcedu.com. the duration was more than enough to answer 2 questions. So no complaints regarding it.

Faculty

3.5

The teachers were highly educated. Nobody showed any spark of their low educational qualifications. Irrespective of their educational qualifications, they were knowledgeable in every subject they taught us.

The placements are very good for BTech students. As I don't know much about Mtech but M.Sc placements are also good not too good but average. BTech has the best placements because many companies offer them job as this college is NIT level college.

If the student is quite serious to go for a PHD after completing his MSc from here, I would say it is a great choice but if one is looking for the option to explore some other field after completing his MSc from here, I wouldn't recommend of getting a degree from here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus structure of KU is totally based on the IIT JAM exam syllabus. That helps students very much in future preparation for Ph.D. Also KU offers special classes for competitive exam preparations including SPSC or UPSC as well as helps to get placements in the private sector. And professors are very highly qualified they can teach this syllabus in depth and with care

Course Curriculum Overview:

The program curriculum encompasses Biological Sciences as well as it could have been. It is very elaborate comprising every branches from Instrumemtation and Methodologies to Cell Biology, Genetics or Molecular Biology for that matter. You are ought to have three theory papers and two practical and Grand VIVA papers each semester with a total of 4 semesters over two years. In the last semester, you need to prepare your dissertation. The papers include all the basic concepts and their applications and demands hard hours. I believe the syllabus can be relaxed a bit and the number of papers per term expanded and compartmentalised so as to reduce the load of individual papers. All the faculties are very supportive and Friendly and appreciate doubts and queries always.
