St Xavier's College is the best

I would like to start with these college facilities: Faculties are well experienced and with good knowledge and have proper communication way. The infrastructure is of this college is the best I . Classrooms are equipped with AC in summer and are huge to prevent suffocating. Admission is a very easy process here with less paperwork, have to simply apply online or fill forms and each form costs 1000 (at my time). Have to carry results and certificates of other exams and the minimum marks are required to get selected. And thereafter give a written test on the campus and thereafter give an interview over there. If you will be qualified they may get in touch with you through mobile and email also. The forms are out in the month of June and the dates are fluctuating. Before taking admission I have done a lot of research through friends and have also seen its review on the website Collegedunia. These college facilities are good and the education provided is best. The admission fees are quite heavier.

I have chosen this college because of its good education and this college provides very good faculty members to the student. The faculty-student ratio is quite good. The faculties here are highly efficient and skilled and are well experience too. The faculty is just excellent and the teaching method is also amazing. The curriculum is designed with the active cooperation of experts from within and outside the organization. They regularly take tests and the teaching here is the best. They provide all the valuable information from different books. The competitive exams are also held which are taken by different organizations which provide merit too. Every year 2 semesters are held which are quite touch enough to hardly score the pass marks. The teachers teach very practically and with uniqueness which I like the most and is very interesting too. Every month they take exams and quick tests are also held. The teachers work very hard and with efficiency which makes this college the one.

Up to 5 months internship is compulsory for getting B.com Degree. It just improves your CV and increases your experience. You can get an internship from any company whether it is a Small Company or a Large one. The internship facility is quite good and is guaranteed after passing out from this college. The college has its own placement cell where you can apply when looking for placements About 25% of students who applied for placements got placed. The highest salary package offered is 13 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA Top recruiting companies are EY, DELOITTE, KPMG, PWX, Grand Thronton, Tata, and Zomato. About 70% of students who applied for internships from our placement got placed.

They can enroll in the placement cell which helps with placements, Some departments get quite good placements from reputed companies. After getting the degree, I plan on sitting for the JAM MSc entrance exams. Also Really good for other departments like BCom and economics but you usually don't look for placement after graduation in the arts stream. You have to go for masters. So if you're a commerce or a science student and you're looking for a college with good placement after graduation, St Xavier's College is one of the best colleges in the country and in Kolkata the best.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions : In this college, the fees of my course were approx 62000 per semester and every year 2 semesters were held. The second semester is quite expensive which to pay a little more. But it totally depends on the course you are studying. And if you have a laboratory then you have to pay extra fees for it. I did not get any scholarships. The scholarships can reduce the amount of the course or even make it free to study. St. Xavier's College Kolkata offers Full-time programs in different specializations. Another quite good facility is that the Students can pay admission fees of the college both online and offline and this college provides part payment of the course too which has to ve paid on every quarter of the course but only for specific students for which you have to write an application with the consequences and guardian approval. The college also provides a reduction of fees especially during the worldwide pandemic situation which was there at our times.

The department of our college aims at providing facilities to the students in the development of competency in research and in the various emerging fields of commerce and sciences. The recently revised curriculum, effective from July 2014, is an endeavor towards this direction. Inclusion of papers like Research Methodology with SPSS package. Our annual fest is Xavotsav and various social groups like NCC, NSS are there. This college hosts a variety of national-level events, and international events as well. In this college, the classrooms are large and capable of a large number of students. The college library is very large and the staff there are too good with a great attitude and friendly behavior. Our college has a very active sports club which organizes annual premier football matches. Our college hosts various events and games too. Here the campus facilities are good but too expensive.

To avail of the hostel facility, different amounts have to be paid and much costlier too. The hostel fee for Male is 50000 and for girls is 55000. Rooms are shared by 2 or 3 students. Each room has individual fans, lights, and plug points, etc, and is big enough. Study tables, cupboards, and beds are provided. Food quality in the mess is more or less good. Registration for the hostel must be done at the time of admission itself. The hostel is at 15mins walking distance from the college at 219/1 AJC Bose Road, Kolkata. My hostel experience was the best part of college life. I was on the 3rd floor and had the best room in the hostel. The hostel meals were also good. However, the cost for the hostel is pretty steep and increases every year and by a good amount Since the hostel was located in a posh area, we had access to every amenity.

There are various companies like Lintas media house, Initiative media house which provide opportunities for internships in our college and it ranges from 5000 to 10000. It includes project works that culminates in presentations through public seminars. From semester 5 i.e final year, students are eligible for campus placement. Companies like EY, P, and G visit. This is a valuable addition to the degree which provides a competitive edge in the market. The percentage of students getting placements is very high and tough too. The college provides its best facilities to develop a student's future and once the candidate makes an investment for his course he / she is guaranteed about his / her success in the particular hope and aspirations.
