Over 100 years old medical College

The curriculum of my course is well defined . Apart from theory the latest approaches in the domain of Medical Biotechnology are also taught. The exams are held in a semester-wise manner. Both theoritical and practical exams are conducted at the end of each semester.

Placement rate is quite good. One can get placement in institute's own hospital. Internship opportunities are also available for students in the hospital. One can also available internship and placements outside as well. I got both internship opportunity and placement on hospital other than the college's own.

Fee is not much hefty as compared to other colleges. One can afford the fee. Fee is to be paid annually and not in semester-wise manner. The fee for 1st year is around 10,000. One has to pay the fee at the time of completion of admission formalities.

Loan facility is available from the banks. However the fee is not that much hefty that one needs to go for educational loan. Scholarships are available for students. I myself applied for the scholarship under the National Scholarship Portal of the Central Government and got the assistance. State government scholarship are also available.

Events and activities like workshops are conducted time to time. The college infrastructure is quite good. Be it lab or class room there are all the necessary facilities for students. Sports events and cultural activities are also organised. Freshers party and Republic day and Independence day celebrations are held each year.

Our college is over a century old medical college established in 1914. With Bachelor's in Biotechnology I applied for Masters program here. The college has very limited seats for the course. Admissions was done through entrance exam followed by an interview cum evaluation. I cleared both the rounds to get admission.

Faculty of the college is best. The professors are highly rich in terms of experience and knowledge. Some of the facualty members are full-time serving doctors in the institute's hospital. During practical exams also the teachers guide us in a easy to go manner.
