The college is in a crowded area and transports are easily available.. We can have metro or bus or train to go to college.
Faculty's teaching expertise is so good.. Department HODs are taking class in our course.
Infrastructures are so good... Every departments have AC, fan, lights...
Dislikes
The are is so much crowded and road is full of cars and tram so it is so hectic during office time.
No hostels are provided so it is so hard for us to come from a distant location.
Common rooms are poorly cleaned... They should be properly cleaned.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Difficulty in exams are moderate... There are very good teachers at our college.. The job vacancies should be improvised and the course is good to go.. Now we have very high frequency of dropout due to low curriculum activities..
It's prime location in kolkata.Train, metro ,bus route is available very easily
Large centralized lab where the opportunity to observe & hands on experience is quite good.
As it is a medical college campus so doctors are available easily
Dislikes

Sometimes due to patient overload the cleaniness is not maintained
The campus is not that large in size. sometimes it is too much crowded
Course Curriculum Overview:
BSc. in medical lab technology is a very demanding course nowadays . It's mostly a practical based degree which gives you the vast knowledge about different types of disease & their diagnosis. The patient interaction , sample taking , making slides , performing different tests to know the actual disease are different aspect of the course. The 6 months paid internship also gives good work experience which is very important.
Education quality is good, good therory and practical knowledge are given.
There are so many specialised departments and labs are here... nowhere in west bengal are as many as seperate departments as in Tropical. You can learn a lot from those.
You will get very good experience while interacting with patients and doing your work in labs.
Dislikes
campus is too small, no play area and all
not so much activities beseide education, no such fests and festivals
no hostel facility, canteen is very small
Course Curriculum Overview:
1.the course is actually more practical based rather than theory. It's actually not that difficult.
2. But the future of the course is not as bright as it should be. So I'll highly recommend everyone not to come in this course at all.
3.There are msc course and phd after completing this but not so many good institutes are there to pursue it.
4. the course is completely based on medical field. so helping people in need is inspirational.
The big class room where a huge number of students can seat & view the board properlu
Practical experience grows better as we direct deals with work from 1st year
Dislikes
Students facility should increase more for realax
Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to pursue Ph.D. after the degree completion.
The admission process was quite simple. After completing my MBBS from GMCH Chandigarh, I applied for the MD in this college. They check all the qualifications and documents they I got a call for the interview round. It went for about 1 hour and many questions were being asked especially from the specific field which I want to pursue.
I had written NEET exam which is the general entrance exams, after the results were declared and ranks allotted, I had checked the cutoff marks for various colleges. My rank was below 20,000 so during counselling I was asked for my preferred colleges and I had named a couple. Out of them I got into CSTM and got my allotment order. I had submitted my documents and paid the fees. After which I submitted the allotment order to the college.
The college holds and excellent research facility in various fields of tropical medicine and diseases. They have completed projects on dengue, malaria and several ongoing researches that helps the students tremendously with new knowledge and its application in curing diseases.
Our college is over a century old medical college established in 1914. With Bachelor's in Biotechnology I applied for Masters program here. The college has very limited seats for the course. Admissions was done through entrance exam followed by an interview cum evaluation. I cleared both the rounds to get admission.
