Course curriculum is very relevant because the line we have finished in graduation level , masters syallabus starts from that. All mathematical physics, Classical mechanics , Electronics , Statistical methods, Condensed matter physics jabe broader spectra and calculation in the MSC level like further elaborations. We must have to attend the Classes regularly to understand that. From all this syllabus , Questions come in CSIR NET exam.

There are not too much but not too less internship opportunities for the University. The Local small companies of Coochbehar want to provide small options for the Internship like machine learning . Before Few Days , The National Biodiversity Authority offered an Internship for their BSIP VI 2025 interview with 23500/- per month for I year internship. Several more internships are going on allover the University.

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Coochbehar Panchanan Barma University offers 2 years 4 semester course as masters of science in physics . During the time of admission you have to pay the debut admission fees as 1950 rupees . And the other semester fees are almost like that , so you can multiply almost 1900 with 4 to estimate the total fees. Now during the registration you have to pay the one time fees 300 for home University students & also 500 for other University and migrated students. For appearing in examinations you have to pay 700 rupees for per semester to the office of controller of examinations. As far as I know , these fees are same for all students unlike reservation criteria. For meritorious students , who are availing INSPIRE scholarship by government of India, can be applied due course. Otherwise, Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship is also available for everyone sponsored by government of West Bengal and Kanyashree K3 available with merit criteria 53% & 45% marks respectively offering thirty thousand per annum & twenty four thousand per annum respectively for science and humanities group students. And some scholarship like Oaisis is also available for minorities and reserved categories.

Campus Life is pretty good in the University. There are the departmental fests like freshers and Farewell organised per year . The senior junior inter connection are very good . Now, in the picnic season several departments age taking their students in the picnic spots and even in excursions. Yes there are a lot of books available in library with a pretty good facilities like lending . But I think there should be more books.. free wifi is available for everyone. There are NCC, NSS , Science and Cultural Clubs in the University. Inter College and International University Cricket , Football , badminton are organised per year ( I must mention that Our department was runner up in cricket ). Besides there are very cultural aspects and seminars. Like the Students Week observation are ongoing which includes Rabidra Sangeeta , Bhawaiya Competition, Free Heath Check up for Students , Poster competition, quizzes and many more.

I wouldn't say that My university is far more better than all the University in West Bengal but rather I would say that , This University decorum is same as all the state dubbed universities in the state of West Bengal. Since Coochbehar is my hometown , so I preferred to study in this University. So , I can live in my home and attend all classes as I want to learn physics. Besides , I heard that physics department here is very much good. So I got admitted here although NBU, GBU, RGU, BU, SKBU, KNU etc. offered me seats for the same course.

Actually our department has just 4 professors , the number is quite low comparatively than the other universities. But that's nothing to do with cause the University is new . There are 27-30 students in our classes and teachers are 4. All the teachers are very high qualified. I must not mention their names without their consent, But I mention that one of them was once professor of a South African University, who is very qualified and also maade our university linked with IUCAA - He is a scholar in Astrophysics & have guided several sholars. Another teacher is highly experienced who secured a great award by West Bengal government, having a great teaching experience. Another teacher was a former HOD of another college & all 4 of them are highly qualified. I like all off them cause they teach in a very friendly way and always motivate us for higher studies. They try to understand our perspective about future in accordance to present Socio economic circumstances. Exam questions papers are moderate to tough. In a patient like mathematical physics student hardly pass. Course curriculum is relevant and similar to all the UGC approved Indian University running the same course.

Actually , My hostel friends can tell much about the Night out spots . But I can tell that the Location of the University is very good , especially very adjacent to our Coochbehar City but also that's hustle & bustle free from the City. The University is near our Torsha River where there are Two restuarants . In front of university there are momo , Chowmin shops.....So yes , Besides the Study , there remains also no lack for enjoyment. Students Go to the Famous places of Coochbehar Like Royal Palace, Madanmohan Bari , Baneshwar Shiva Mandir Wherever they want . Gym are also very near. But since I am not hostel students , so I cannot mention about that.
