Stressful exams teachers always strict in exams
Not friendly teachers always strict and low budget people have high attitude

Course Curriculum Overview

I don't have enough money to get in other states and study..actually i lost my dad so i don't want my family to feel pressurised coz of my study..so i choose this low level course This college doesn't give so much time in studies The principal and the office staffs needs to change Exam happens very lately and questions are very easy to moderate

1st year fees paid 1620 with exam fees of 2 semesters 1200 2nd year fees 1620 with exam fees 1200 3rd year fees 1620 with exam fees 1200 Tution fees per month 1500 Scholarship available svmcm and oasis

Campus Life

Freshers and annual programs and durga puja and saraswati puja. I haven't visited library till now Sports is good Students run only political parties and they have a group pf 30,40 boys and they always do ragging

Admission

I have applied in Nbu and Cbpbu and i got selected in both.i choose this college bcoz the college is very big and sports and cultural events always goes on.. No..i didn't make it there bcoz my gf was not there..nothing went wrong Simple admission process and everything is very simple except the cruel office staffs! Cutoff is 12 out of 40 Attendance is 10% needed only.

Faculty

The faculty to students are very cheap..the office staffs behave like very rude and if we have any work to office they always says that stay away from the office gate and all the shits..they never treat a student as they should be treated..they treat students as garbage..

Night Life

Gym only for specific course.library for all. Hostel is there it was very big last time i saw Only a field to hangout..the locality is good and nearby there is many cafes and temples to hangout with friends

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

I wouldn't say that My university is far more better than all the University in West Bengal but rather I would say that , This University decorum is same as all the state dubbed universities in the state of West Bengal. Since Coochbehar is my hometown , so I preferred to study in this University. So , I can live in my home and attend all classes as I want to learn physics. My CGPA is Very High 9.13 & I have got a chance in all other universities like NBU, APDU , RGU, GBU , VU , SKBU & many more.But the Fact is, Being a resident of Coochbehar I heard that the CBPBU physics department is dedicated for Teaching Physics. And It's situated in my hometown so I decided to study here. MSc degree is same overall in all West Bengal state government-sponsored university. So I hereby decided to study in my hometown rather than going outwards.In accordance to the WBHED notification, this University starts admission in Online mode.
