Remarks

Positive - So many facilities for the students ( library, gymnasym, swimming pool, computer center, play ground, free access of international journals) Negative - Less planning taken by the administration before any event.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is nodoubtly very good including theory and practical papers. Total four semesters in two year. Internal for each semester's taken before the semester examinations started. Sometimes surprise test and assignment also taken.

After completion of M.SC degree if a student qualify the CSIR-NET or GATE examinations, college gives recommendation for this students in good institution. Sometimes after completion of M.sc teachers refers the students to different fertilizer or Chemical company for jobs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. Fee structure is feasible as because it is a central university. And also sponserd by UGC , DST-INSPIRE. So students have to pay a less other than any university. Fees structure is category wise. ( GENERAL,OBC,SC,ST)

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no regular university scholarship. Students just apply for government sponserd scholarship. University use to help in this process only. These are- Inspire, Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means, OBC scholarship, Minority scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Annual university sports day. Swimming pool facility. University cricket match in every winter. University football match in every summer. University youth festival. University NSS day. Particular chemistry department's laboratory Infrastructure is not so well.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I have opted for hostel. Hostel fees r very less. As I was a student of General category , I had paid R.S - 150/- PER MONTH. For SC and ST category students the hostel fees is totally free. For OBC students Fees is same as general. And Infrastructure facility is good. Building, bathroom, kitchen. Only problem is with drinking water.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are helpful to their junior by giving proper suggestions. They sometimes take special classes to inspire the present students. They also contribute for the players tiffin and Jersey During the cricket and football matches.

Admission

As I was a student of B.SC in Chemistry in this university , so according to our results of B.SC a merit list had been prepared. I applied for the M.SC in Chemistry , when the university addmission form fill up started. After that a addmission date was given. On that day I had deposited the one year fees for the course.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty are very knowledgeable person in their subject. As chemistry is a practical based subject, they are very good in practical classes. Besides this they are friendly and co-operative. Students can get suggestions from teachers in any kind of their problems.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.
