The syllabus of the course is pretty nice with diversified subjects alsong with specialization subjects in the 3rd and 4th semester. Some compulsory subjects include Tagore Studies and Basics of Communication. The course also includes Development Communication, Online media, Journalism, Gender studies, Advanced Audio Visual Production. The department is well equipped a mac lab but it only have 5 macs. The curriculum also includes Design, UIUX, Graphics design etc, and the curriculum is continuously updating with moden media teachings. The curriculum mostly prepare us for Academic Purposes than Industry.

Placements at VBU especially for courses like BA IN JAPANESE are limited. Most students do not receive offers through campus recruitment. However, the course opens up oppurtunities in fields like translation, interpretation and working with Japanese Companies especially for those who clear JLPT N2 or N1. After completing my bachelor's I plan to pursue an MBA as combining language skills with management education offers a strong edge in the global job market.

I live in a village. My father is a farmer. From childhood, I wanted to study agriculture, and finally my dream came true after getting admission to this college. I think from this college I can improve my knowledge about agriculture, which I can apply inthe practical field

Students are generally elegible for placement offers from 3rd year of UG program and 2nd Year of PG program. I-PAC, ecociate, ICICI Bank are our paste recruiters with an average package of nearly ?3.5 lakh annually. I-PAC made the highest package offer of ?400000 annually. Placement percentage are relatively low of nearly 30% as more are oriented academically.

The course was Mass Communication and Journalism. I choose the course so that I get a handful of career opportunities and as this course teaches me about Journalism, Advertising and PR as a whole, it is quite relevant with the real-world applications.

The course was M.Sc in Botany. I have completed my B.Sc in Botany. After that I got into M. Sc. Tne course was relevant to my subject. The papers are little bit difficult. But the professors helped a lot.

I recently applied for the Visva Bharati course. I was also admitted here. Since no other colleges offered my topic, I didn't apply to any of them. Furthermore, this language is not offered at any universities in my area. I merely applied for Visva Bharati, that's all. Following the announcement of the CUET results, all students should register on the university's website. A provisional merit list of the enrolled students will thereafter be released, based on their CUET exam scores. Therefore, each student must take the CUET exam and receive high scores in order to apply to Visva Bharati.

From semester 6 students become eligible for the campus placement but very few companies come for campus placement . Average package of in campus placement is 6 lakh . However students generally go for off campus placement and choose the company of their wish. More than 95 percentage of pass out students gets job in the corporate sector very easily. For me I personally want to go for higher education !

The course's provides by the university are quite interesting, as I want to learn foreign language so I had chosen Italian language as my major subject but since government introduced NEP systems so I get the opportunity to explore another department's also.

Before the Corona period almost all the departments of Visva-Bharati conducts placement programs but after the corona period it almost got stoped but from 2025 Chenna Bhavana start to conduct placement as before and the first company which show his excitement to participate for the same is Oppo.
