Visva-Bharati Guide for new admission of PG students

Intrested in Macroeconomics and Development Economics and highly induced in research orientation caused my decision to enter into this University. Welcoming attitude of the fculties and peer review of every new ideas along with synonyms environment for academic research.

Students are generally elegible for placement offers from 3rd year of UG program and 2nd Year of PG program. I-PAC, ecociate, ICICI Bank are our paste recruiters with an average package of nearly ?3.5 lakh annually. I-PAC made the highest package offer of ?400000 annually. Placement percentage are relatively low of nearly 30% as more are oriented academically.

?7560 is the 1st year fee followed by ?2560 in the 2nd Year Tution fee is ?1200 for general cast, Caution deposit is ?800, ?1000 for registration fee, ?3000 is admission fee, ?100 is development fee and others. ?1200 is the tution fee of General caste and for all other it's free, total course for non-general is nearly about ?6360 in 1st year and ?1360 in 2nd year. Financial aids are available for the students with proper recipt of academic expenditures at nearly about 100% of the same.

Eco Shop program for UG and PG students organised every year in the months of March and April for multiple competition in the field of Paper presentation, Debate, speech and extempore. YSM organisation every year in the month of December and January for Paper presentation of PhD and PG scholars. Fully AC rooms and Digital classrooms for students along with multiple sports ground and facilities dedicated for the same. Library facilities along with Computer room and UGC SAP room for Scholars and Seminar Hall for programes and events. Placement Cell of the department is fully run by students along with other societies like literary and cultural groups for event management.

Facilities of 1 bedded, 2 bedded, 3 bedded and 4 bedded rooms along with furniture and other amenities. Good quality meals for students. Affordable price of hostel rooms and registration process fully explained in the prospectus. Rented rooms along with PG are available in the near vicinity of the University campus.

I got admission in University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad but my intrest in academic research and development projects drove me towards Visva-Bharati which gave me a place for the same. I didn't apply in any other colleges other than Visva-Bharati and University of Hyderabad, and got accepted by 2. Admission in our time was done through University admission test in 2024 whereas it accepts CUET(PG) scores for admission of new students after 2024.

Good faculty to student ratio of 1:30 and well approachable faculty in research oriented academic programs. There are a total of 4 semester exams for each paper along with 3 internal exams for each paper per semester

Library, Computer room and Sports area are the favourite and productive areas for students. Hostel timings are generally between 6am to 9pm on each days, and campus is fully guarded by guards along with other benifits of an Open campus
