Admission is taken through CUET, along with Councelling and Verification of Documents. The minimum percentage required in UG is 60%. Other colleges like Jadavpur University takes Own Entrance exams for same course and is comparatively tough to get admission. The admission to Visva Bharati is comparatively easy than compared to other Post Graduate in Media Studies.

Admission:

I chose VBU over other colleges because of its peaceful campus, strong language programmes and unique academic environment inspired by Rabindranath tagore's vision. I had also applied to JNU and EFLU, but after careful comparison I found VBU more aligned with my learning style and personal goals. The UNIVERSITY offers a more focused and supportive setting with smaller class sizes and close student-teacher interaction which is ideal for studying a language like Japanese. The admission process was conducted through the CUET( COMMON UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST) . The eligibilty was 10+2 with a valid CUET score. For Japanese VBU considers marks of either ENGLISH or GENERAL TEST whichever you get higher marks in. I dont regret choosing VBU it was the right decision for my academic and personal development.
