Likes

The environment was beautiful..full of greenery
Faculty was more or less qualified in teaching
Exams were happening at the end of each semester

Dislikes

Practicals were not happenings regularly
Labs were not equiped with well instruments
Practical lab notebooks were not checked time to time

Mainly the practicals...i choose the fields for mainly performing my skill.. It is really important to brush up the skills for the future application The course can improved in maintaing a curriculum that is carrer based

Mu campus life was sort of fun...made a lot of friends..and somewhat the proffessors became like my peers...and the fest is very enjoyable moment...it happens every year int month of dec..and has a lot popularity

Admission

This college is very famous and the faculty is very best..and i got confirmed at Bethune College..wh8ch has the best faculty members I didnt got any rejection..its simply my choice to not to apply to it

Faculty

Yeah..somewhata approachable.. Some professors were most friendly..and others were really strict and does not try to involve with the students affairs. End semester exams were happening..but the marking system is very bad..and result publication is very late

Night Life

Yeah q lot of cafes, restaurants were open...some vendors were open late till night Our library opens till the college timings Famous hangout places were cafes, parks, and college street..and the locality is perrably safe, but we were asked to enter before 10

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Actually Some of the Local Companies & Private banks Offer placements which are averagely worth 250000/-. Some of the Students appear for it , but the Number is Very less. Actually In Present Circumstances , Most students wants a stable Government, Especially Central Gov job . So they Prepare for exams like SSC , SBI , IBPS, LIC , RRB etc.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.
