Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 2 Year Full-time M.Sc Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidate must be science graduates under (10+2+3) system having Honours/Major/Main subject in (i) Chemistry(with any branch of Bio-Science as combination subject) or (ii) any branch of Bio-Science(with Chemistry as combinational subject) or (iii) Agricultural Science and also Engineering graduates under (10+2+4) system in Biotechnology.
Admissions based on academic records(40% weightage) and performance in a written test (60% weightage)

Reservation:

Reservation of Seats : S.C. - 22%, S.T. - 6%, O.U.(Other University) - 5%, P.H. - 3%, Sports Quota - 1 Seat

Review of the Burdwan University

Likes

Sports curriculum which is very good in the University.
Teaching of some staffs are really good .

Dislikes

Placement opportunities is very bad which should be increased.
The fees structure is higher which is difficult for students.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees structure is littile high as it is self financed structure. In each semester we had to pay 18000 Rs but now it increased and now it is 19000 rs which is really not good for economically weak students.
