Course Curriculum Overview
The course I pursued in Delhi University was Bachelors of commerce, it is a 3 year program with atleast 24 subjects related to commerce, business, management and accounting with some electives with general studies. There are semester base exams in Delhi University with respective assignment and projects. I think Delhi University should provide a mandatory real time projects to students after their graduation as the theoretical knowledge is different from practical knowledge
Internships Opportunities
There are lot of start-ups available for the internship opportunities in the Delhi University especially if I talk about my college. I joined a company named INSPIREE DIGITAL in my 2nd year as an HR for 3 months and in that period I gainwd real life practical experience.
Placement Experience
The placement cells in the Delhi University are very efficient and cooperative for the students. Different companies including startups and MNCs approached by the colleges for placement of students. The packages varies from 360000-2400000 in the Delhi University. The colleges provide preliminary screenings, GD rounds, Mock interviews for nourishing students personality.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure in Delhi University is affordable according to me to all sections of the society as it is comparatively less and students can pay it on yearly basis during his course. The Delhi University provides some kind of scholarships and fees concessions for EWS students although I didn't availed it.
Campus Life
The extra curricular section and activities in Delhi University is very excellent as there are different societies and clubs for the students according to their interests and hobbies. My college has RAAGA for singing which I joined during my bachelors. Their are different college and campus libraries available for the students.
Admission
The admission process in my time was simple and effective. The student must meet the eligibility and register himself on DU portal after getting up to cut off one can apply in their preference college that's it. But now admission in DU is subject to student's CUET scores and his preference and eligibility according to the form and I find this whole process so rigid and tough to understand by a student. The university should provide atleast some transparency about why a Student can get the seat and about the cut off.
