Likes

College canteen is very good and affordable food price with good quality.
Largest library in delhi university with good space and book. There is a seperate section for blind person.
Large ground for external activity and indoor game room is also available

Dislikes

Some rooms furniture are not good which should be repaired
Some rooms are not having proper fan which is very difficult for summer
College is closed after 3pm for morning as evening college is also there

Course Curriculum Overview

Interest in account and CA and there is family business for account that's why I choose bcom. It will be good for future because there is so much to do with the course and other activities also. Every semester exam is almost of 1month.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 13500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

National scholarship scheme is available for the student from government. University of Delhi also provide scholarship to the student. The scholarship is for the student who are not good enough to pay the fee.

Campus Life

Every year there is annual fest last year it was Arohana 24. The library have large number of book with all departments, department are maintained for alll the book. The library have large space for sitting.

Admission

I have applied for Lucknow University and allahabad university and I was allocated to both the college but I got admission in delhi university earlier that's why I choose this college. Both the college released the seat allocation little late that was the reason I choose this college

Faculty

Faculty are good enough in the ratio of students and the faculty of commerce is very good and helpful for the student. Commerce department is good of our college. Exam is on semester basis which means every year 2time exam. And the difficulty level of exam is normal.

Night Life

Gym is also in college Dance room is also Canteen is present in college with affordable cost which is not less then cafeteria Every hostel have there own rule and main college does not provide hostel College is open from 8.am to 3.pm

Yes our college provides placements to the student and the students who are in their final semester(6 semester) are eligible for the placement. The companies which comes to college are Kpmg, dillote, Ey, bain and company etc. The average package is around 9 lakh and the highest package is 36.5 lakh.

Students of 3rd semester become eligible for campus placements. Companies like pwc, EY, deloitte has visited our campus and offered packages according to the competency of student. 35-40% people do get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to move abroad and pursue ACCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really relevant and comprehensive. For eg in bcom we study business law, company law, Human Resources management, marketing, financial and corporate accounting, finance, busines maths, stats, income tax, cost accounting, economics as ge so all these are really great well structureda and do have real life practical applications therefore i think my course is really very well aligned and comprehensive in terms of the business world.

St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college. The cut-offs on which the admission matters had a massive difference in the kind of marks i had vs the actual cut-off of St Stephens.
