Likes

Campus and atmosphere around here is too good
Food from night canteens and everywhere outside mess is nice
The class schedules are quiet good and proffs don't care much about anything

Dislikes

Hard to good friends and people are always busy
Exams are not always easy, people get so rude during exams especially in library
The quality of food and the way it's prepared, I don't like it

Campus placements mostly 3rd year ig or 6th sem Many companies like Microsoft google etc come each year Highest package is 1 Cr+ and average 36 lakhs Almost 90-100% placement rate After getting degree, get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is quite high, but scholarships are provided to students in need but ig we have to submit proper documents in the proper time to avail it. I have no much idea about the stipend given, it's only for the MTech and PhD scholars here

Campus Life

There are two fests: tech fest called kshitij and cultural fest called spring fest both of which are held in jan every year Wide variety of books and journals are available in library even of international authors, it has one of the Asia's biggest library Classrooms are really big with proper good facilities Sports and eaa are quiet popular especially if u know some before Many clubs like public policy and governance society, ppgs etc are there

Hostel Facilities

Quiet good facilities given in room for 1st years Meals and their quality is poor, we usually have food from outside and not mess Registration process for hostel and all is easy, will be done really quick

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

Eligible after clearing jee mains and jee advanced with a decent score Application form from jee website, wait for the official information from the iit conducting the exam each year. No improvement as such needed

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

Other colleges I applied for is IIT Delhi because it is nearer to my home and is well reputed college and have a great field in Tech.I opt this college because I am interested in Tech field. I finally chose IIT KGP beacuse it is providing me better branch than IIT Delhi and I got interested in this college beacuse my teacher in myh senior schoo is also from IIT KGP they taught me a lot of stories of there college time and I talked to some seniors of college for admissionb regarding prespective so they advised for IIT KGP.Therefore I chose IIT KGP over IIT Delhi.
