Course Curriculum Overview

Somehow i know that the placement of this college is very good so i took admission into this course . Here all professor are highly educated and very helpful to us . Here end semester exam is conducted in an interval of 6 month .

Placement Experience

On our campus, more than 80% of students are laced in the campus placement. TCS, SAMSUNG, MICROSOFT, etc. are the companies that came to our campus. The average package offered by these companies is around 6 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fees for my branch is around 13k per year and additional amount of 2.5k for student union fees of full course and fest fees of 1.5k per year . Here student can got several types of scholarships like Aikashree, SVMCM, Oiasis etc.

Campus Life

I am enjoying the campus life very much here . The campus is situated in an area of 75 acres . Here one Annual fest is organized every year in the month of march . The fest name is ESPECTRO . Our campus has 13 different types of clubs .

Hostel Facilities

In a room 4 students are boarded . The room are very good and have WIFI facility free of cost . Hostel provides meal twice daily . The meal quality is below average . The roads in front of the hostel is very bad .

Admission

I first complete my class 12 schooling and I give WBJEE(WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION) . After that through councelling i got admission into this college . The exam form is available at WBJEE official website . The cutoff for this college is around 2000 GMR .

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

I gave West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination in 2024. I scored a decent rank but due to high cut off of this year I didn't get good branch in Jadavpur University.
