Course Curriculum Overview

Through this course I can learn various concepts of how a tractor is built and how it works. As I have a dream to work in a tractor company, this course helps me a lot. There are 15 faculty members, and total number of students is 107. Therefore having a faculty: student ratio of 7:1 approx. Professors try their level best to make us understand the concepts. We also learn through practical assignments and field works. After 2 months of the semester beginning we have the midterm examination following which we have practical examination; and after a month we have the end term examination. If a student reads all the concepts taught by the professor and reads all the notes provided he or she gets a decent score.

Class Size: 26Course Fees: INR 26200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure of this University per semester 13,100 rupees (including hostel fees). Mess fees 1800(75%+ 40 rupees per meal * by number of meal taken by the students).Svmcm scholarships, aikhashree scholarship, University scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is wonderful. Campus is clean and environment friendly. Class rooms clean every day. Campus social life is annual sports, agriunifest, social, viswakarma puja, etc . There are many cultural clubs dance club, mime club, music club etc. There is regular meeting of the clubs. Every year there is freshers party and farewell is organised.

Admission

I took admission through decentralized counselling. Through the notification provided in the universities site www.ubkv.ac.in we get the link to fill the form to sit for the decentralized counselling. The list of students who have filled the form are requested to come for spot counselling in the university and after that according to the general merit rank in WBJEE entrance examination students are selected. There is no such reservation benefit but there is a category of TFW. Only few students who have low family income can apply for for the same. Necessary documents of those students are checked by the authority.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

For campusing it starts from 3rd year 6th sem. The companies that come to this college are TCS , Wipro , Cognizant , HCL and many more . My plan after b.tech is to get a job then with job study for m.tech then give exam on DRDOIT.

I applied to Surendranath College in department of Zoology. But I didn't take admission in that college because this field of agriculture has better career opportunities than that one. I didn't get rejected from any college. The admission process In my university is very transparent and clear. Any 12th pass candidate with 60% marks or more is eligible to apply. Also anyone can get admission through the all India entrance exam conducted by ICAR. The overall admission experience is very good and clear.
