Uttar Banga Krishi Vishwavidyalaya is renown university for agriculture studies,the environment is good .
The whole campus is filled with green that is more lovable for a nature lover students like me .
There is a stage and auditorium for performance and showing your talent.

Dislikes

There should be some register club such as coding ,dance ,sports and other important things.
Food quality and hostel cleanliness should be taken care for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

So my course is agricultural engineering so if anyone interested to know about the basic agricultural machinery and heavy machinery other area of agriculture also taught,so they can choose this course . Faculty is good they are 3 department and 4 sub department are present there.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 104800 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships opportunities available those are University scholarship for semester wise and SVMCM( Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means) for 12 result percentage wise they can get scholarship from the govt of west bengal.

Campus Life

In the university there are mainly fest are happening are annual fest and farewell and freshers for the new caming students and a central library is also present for the office hour but very limited books are available, they should focus on more Entrance level exam books .

Hostel Facilities

Hostel for both girls and boys are good , 2 boys living in a room in the hostel , other facilities in hostel are good , hostel clean weekly. Mess are mainly maintain by self helf group ,food quality are mordarate. Registration process for hostel and mess is simple after taking addmission this process are happening.

Hostel Fee: INR 1000 per year

Admission

The admission procedure is mainly based on wbjee ( West bangle joint Entrance) rank , so the rank for getting admission vary from year to year but if anyone have the rank upto 40 k in wbjee they can apply for the addmission procedure.

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

The placement cell of my college is very strong.From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS,Intel. Microsft. Deloitte,etc.205 students are placed in TCS in year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa previous year.After Jadhavpur University,the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT,CSE and ECE students.There are around 55-60% placements in other department.My plans are doing some great things after getting the degree.

I applied to Surendranath College in department of Zoology. But I didn't take admission in that college because this field of agriculture has better career opportunities than that one. I didn't get rejected from any college. The admission process In my university is very transparent and clear. Any 12th pass candidate with 60% marks or more is eligible to apply. Also anyone can get admission through the all India entrance exam conducted by ICAR. The overall admission experience is very good and clear.
