Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I want to take admission into M.Tech from IIT. Which is only possible by giving GATE Exam after B.Tech only. Here the Teachers are highly qualified. All of them are PHD holders. Here exam are conducted on semester basis. Which is conducted by MAKAUT University
Internships Opportunities
Here various internship opportunities are available. Like in 3rd year CESC has give opportunities to some students to work with them. The college also helpful to students who are doing Internships. Like they remove the pressure of assignment from them
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for placement till 7th semester. The companies like TCS, TATA POWER, L&T, WIPRO are come into our campus. The highest package of our college is 42LPA which is published 4 years ago by the college. Here more than 75% of students getting placed here. After getting the degree I want to pursue M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur.
Fees and Financial Aid
Here the admission fees is not hiked because it is a government college rather than fees are slightly decreased due to Students Fee Waiver Scheme. During study you can apply various scholarships like SVMCM, AIKASHREE, OASIS etc.
Campus Life
Here multiple fests and hall day are conducted. The annual fest name is Espectro which is conducted on the month of March. This fest has two part - one is cultural fest and another one is tech fest. The classroom of Electrical department is like brand new. The college also have 13 clubs.
Hostel Facilities
Here four boys hostel and one girls hostel is available. Four students are accomodate in a room. Meal are given two times daily. For admission into hostel you have to fill the hostel admission form and pay the admission fees which is basically the mess bill.
Admission
You can get admission through WBJEE after 12th or through JELET after Diploma. You can find the application form in WBJEE official website. Here reservation benefits are also available like ST, ST, OBC, PWD etc. During admission huge number of documents are required. I think this need to be simplified in future.
Interview Experience
The college did not conduct any interview or written test. The admission is based on the merit rank of the joint entrance examination. For taking admission you have to get a good rank in WBJEE or JELET examination. Then do councelling. You will be ready to take admission.
