I liked the green campus of 164 acres it's so awesome.
The gym is awesome in our college it has so many equipments.
The faculty of our college is awesome they are all phd level.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of our college is not so great.
Lab facilities of our college is not so good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Here the faculty members are aware all are phd level professors.here the student teacher ratio is 40:1. In every six months the term exam is conducted. To pass the exam you need to study a little bit.

Placement Experience

You are eligible for campus placements from 7 th semester on wards.last year some companies like ta cognizant CTC work visited in our campus.around 91 percent of the student got placed. Highest package here is 64 lacks.

Fees and Financial Aid

You have to pay 10404 yearly before semester.you have to pay 1200 for exam also. You can get an opportunity to get various scholarship like oasis svmvm etc.to get those scholarship you have to pass all the exam.

Our college senior conducted our cultural fest called Kevlar every year.and the technical dear called sristi.here a central library is there od 40 thousand books .Class rooms are well furnished.sports facility is also available.

To get admission in this college you have to crack west Bengal join entrance examination.any 12 pass student can apply in this college through ahmed website .If you are a sc st obc candidate you can get reservations benefits.

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College

According to my West Bengal joint entrance examination rank I said for the counselling in the first round I got Kalyani Government Engineering College with IT department but that was with the reservation under EWS quota with rank 2869. As I was not able to get me EWS certificate my admission there was cancelled and then according to my preference I got Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College with electronic and communication engineering department.
