Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

Entrance Exam, Merit List

As the college is under Makaut (recently Autonomous) and affiliated by AICTE, the course curriculum is as per AICTE. There are a total of 8 semesters exam and every semester, there is two internals. The internal and semesters questions would be set by College themselves as It is an Autonomous Institute now.

Mainly IT companies come and recruit a great percentage of students. Tcs is one of these which recruits around 450 students every year. Tech Mahindra, IBM, Wipro, Infosys also came. Few core companies like Linde, Voith paper, Star Cement also come. Some years Haldia Petrochemicals also came.

Every year, college Fest is organized with great enthusiasm. The event for Freshers is also organized. Saraswati Puja, Viswakarma Puja is celebrated. Tequip-II organize several seminars and events in college.

As it is a private college, the fee structure is a little high but yet, it is less from several other private colleges in our state.The fee structure will be shown on the website at the admission time. It will be decided as per the AICTE rule.

Yes, there are many scholarships available for students. Students whose family income are below 1 lakhs and have good cgpa, can get scholarships. Tuition Fees for many poor students are free. Students have to apply for it on the college website in a certain format.

The infrastructure of labs is moderately developed. Lab assistants are there to help you. Extracurricular activities are now an essential part of the AICTE course. Certain grade points are there for extracurricular activities. There is a gym, table tennis hall, football ground and a common room for both boys and girls.

Girls hostels are on the college campus. Boys hostels are far little from the campus. Hostel foods and infrastructure are ok. Security is tight. If someone doesn't want to stay in the hostel, don't worry, there are many pg and mess in the small distance from the college.

Seniors are very very helpful.No need to worry.No ranging incidents informed still now. Seniors and Alumni are placed at a job or university throughout India. They obviously help juniors. There is a separate alumni portal on the college website. Anyone can register there.

I got admission through the WBJEE rank.Others can also get admission through JEE main rank. The admission process would be described clearly at the wbjee, jee main site or college website also. After the entrance exam results declared, the starting date of the admisdion process would be declared on the website and the admission process would be continued for 1 or 2 weeks.The selection process by the respective college would be in 3 or 4 stages.

Like in every college and institute, there are some professors who are really very good, friendly and helpful. Some Professors are so highly qualified to understand. Some faculty may be boring. Almost all professors are student-friendly. They also use powerpoint presentations to make it realistic.
