- Decent infrastructure for academic , classroom are well equipped and library is well maintained with textbooks, journals and digital access to certain resources.
- Best campus life , the campus has an active environment with tech fest , events, and cultural program.
- Supportive faculty, faculty members are well qualified and supportive in nature and teaching methods includes PPTs, lab session
Dislikes
- No ac in classroom , specially in summer it is very difficult for us to seat in classroom.
- Placement support can be improved, the training and placement cell are not so supportive in nature
- Hostel and Mess facilities are poor they can be improved and food quality can fluctuate depending on mess incharge.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum as 8 out of 10 in terms of relevance,depth and overall usefulness. The curriculum helps me building strong problem solving skill and performing well in technical interviews.The curriculum can be improved by adding more hands on lab and real world mini projects. There are one Mid-sem and one final sem in each semester.
Placement Experience
After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am a general category student admitted through the regular counselling not via management so my fees was around 100000 per year and for four year it was 400000. There is no facility for scholarships for other state candidate .There is same fee for everyone in my classroom, there is no discrimination in fee based on their category everyone has to pay equal amount of fee.
Campus Life
My campus life experience has been positive and enjoyful, with agood balance of cultural knowledge, academics, activities. The central library is one of the strongest part in our campus there is book provided to everyone by using college id card. you can easly get a book by just showing them you id card. In my knowlege i have not seen any particular student impacting on student life.
Hostel Facilities
There is 10000 fee permonth i hostel that has included mess fess and mess food is average and there is fix menu for every week in wednesday and sunday they provide nonveg and everyday they provide simple meal but food taste is more sweet because most of the staff are bengalis so they made food according to their culture.
Admission
I chose this college because my rank was not so good so i am unable to get admit in better college than this . I have applied many colleges but due my rank i can't be admited inthose colleges. To take admission in my college you have to give eith WEJEE or JEE ,depending on your rank you will get selected to any particular course.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio in my department is approximately1:30. Because of this, the teachers are able to give attention to individual students whenever required. I like Anjali Sharma because she helped me alot during my project ideas and lab work.There are one internal and one final semester and internal was so easy you can easly get good marks .
Night Life
Although my campus is not a late-night party hub, so there is no night night life everyone have to leave college by 6pm and there no any gym cafeteria in my college . There is canteen which provide good food at regionable price so any one can afford it if they fill hungry. There is no hangout place except graden.
