Remarks

I think each Institute is unique in its own way and so is ours. Saying anything bad about the college is not right as nothing is perfect a college which has given me so much.

Entrance Preview

I didnt take any entrance exam for this particular course. I got admission into the course by my percentage in 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is really very diverse we study many subject. There are 6 semester half yearly. So a total of 3 years.

Internships Opportunities

I haven't been a part if internships yet but I believe even that would be really very good as the college has excellent repetition. I've heard that there is an internship fare which is held in our college every year.

Placement Experience

Still not been a part of it. But our placement cell is quite strong and active also in the past all the big multi national companies have come for recruitment to our college.

College Events

There are so many societies in our college and each society celebrates its own fest. So we have around 28 society fests in our college plus the annual college fest. Also the department fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is really very nominal as the college belongs to delhi university. It is very feasible. It is roughly 20 thousand for a year which includes everything except the food and accomodation.

Campus Life

Campus life is the best life as I've heard from my senior even im enjoying it alot but I dont know if its the best or the best is yet to come. We have many parties but not in the college mostly in cafe disco. There is no kind of discrimination which I have ever noticed.

Hostel Facilities

The college doesn't have a hostel of its own. Also there is no particular mess in the college. There is a canteen which is air conditioned and serives delicious food. But there are alot of pg's in the vicinity.

Alumni/Alumna

I am really not aware about the passouts but otherwise college seniors are really very help full. They've been with us from the first day of college. They are really polite and understanding.

Exam Structure

Exams are basis on semester. We have 6 semester in our course that is 3 year as each semester is for 6 Months. We also have Regular internal examinations in between.

Faculty of the college is really very educated,qualified,experienced,cooperative,helping. All of them have done masters in there Subject and list have also done PH.D.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
