Remarks

I only applied in Indraprastha as the cutoff was under eligibility according to my marks. No. I didn't avail any quota. Admission criteria: Min marks- 98; Age was not a factor, just the min qualification of 10+2. No counseling was provided.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose psychology as it interests me in learning more about human behavior. Faculty no. is 10 and students are 75, divided into 2 sections. Faculties are highly qualified, with most of them who completed their doctoral degrees. Some are still pursuing Ph.D. They teach in an efficient way using practical methods. Term exams used to be twice each yr: i.e., 1 in each semester. They are not difficult to pass.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college, the scholarship is not that specific. Even if you score well, there are not many chances of availing scholarships. However, fee concessions are provided to students from economically weaker backgrounds, given that they provide appropriate documents regarding the proof of the same. Campus jobs are available but not paid; certificates are provided.

Campus Life

Our college conducts a lot of fests but calls it our bad luck or something. We are a batch of COVID lockdown period, so even though we are in our third year, we haven't experienced a single annual fest in our college. But DU altogether conducts tons of fests, calling on various celebs. They typically run from November to December. The library is one of the best parts of our college. Its two-floored structure has made it the most extensive library at DU. Almost every book is available there. The classroom is a bit small though, with desks being a little uncomfortable. The sports facility is great. Websites are run by all the departments, and website heads are selected to take the responsibility for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good but there a backlog as they does not provide the selection for the programme courses in first year but they have good subjects in sac vac gt and all so its a good thing and the courses provided by the du are helpful for all.

You are eligible for placements from the 5th semester. Multiple companies visited including Deloitte,kpmg,icici bank,zomato etc. 300 offers were makde to the students The highest package last year was 12 lpa and average was 5.7 lpa and profies offered were financial analyst, business development associate, marketing, management trainee etc I think around 40 percent got placements I am planning to do mba after this degree

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

To get admission in IPCW, which is a part of Delhi University, you need to give the CUET UG exam, which is conducted by NTA. Maths is a compulsory subject to get economics honours at any college of Delhi University. Apart from that, you need to appear in one language and two other domain subjects in CUET. Indraprastha College for Women, boasts of a vibrant campus life with a keen focus on academics, with the tinge of discipline. The college is really great, with brilliant students who are career- oriented. Ip college: Heritage meets academics

I appeared for CUET entrence exam and had to rank my college preference during the admission process. Hindu College of du is my first preference while indraprastha college for women ( ip) was my fifth . However consulting with my senior from my school who was studying in IP College, I learned that history and political science courses offered here are highly reputed .This influence my decision to prioritize ip college.
