What Students Say
Likes
- Our campus only has management courses and therefore we have all like minded people in the campus.
- Our campus is inaugurated recently so in terms of area it may be small but in terms of facilities it's huge.
- The faculties are more than co-operative and that's pleasing.
Dislikes
- Some faculties even after FMS and IIM backgrounds don't know how to teach well.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college also accepts CUET Scores as it is affiliated with DU. Unlike government or DU colleges like Hindu or the others we too have same syllabus but studying in a private college and that in the one which is specifically inclined towards management department is perhaps the best. So course same as DU but teaching definitely superior than DU top government college's.
Internships Opportunities
After the first year, ICICI Prudential is where I interned and even though I got the intenrships there on my own. Some companies though came directly to the campus for intenrships and we just finished the first year so stipend wasn't that high.
Placement Experience
Our college has MBA college as well and so many top companies like the Adani Group, NTPC and many such both government and private enterprises comes here for placements activities. Highest placements for economics hons from DTU has been of 24 lakhs so far.
Fees and Financial Aid
DTU east campus which is in Vivek Vihar is latest campus and has more advanced and better facilities than the main campus. Our department fees is 1.16 lakhs a year and it keeps increasing by 10k every year.
Campus Life
East campus isn't that big but there are 4 buildings and BBA and BA Economics Hons share the same building. MBA and admin building are also there. For events we are still dependent on the main campus as DTU hosts a common fest Angi fest which again is a huge cultural fest.
Admission
I first thought of taking admission in DU government colleges as St Stephens and Hindu were my first choice but cut-off for the same was around 750 while DTU was happy with 600-620. So, i took admission here as the government colleges like the Ramanujan and other colleges available at this score were not worth it.
Faculty
Their backgrounds from where they hail is enough to describe them as they come from top brass like IIMs and FMS. Also they have experience of a lifetime because some of our faculties are into this profession since late 90s. Professor Navneet Nishanth is my favourite professor who teaches the most complex subject in the most easiest way possible.
Night Life
From historic India Gate to Kakardooma Community Centre everything is nearby. Pacific Mall and Akshardham Temple are also nearby. So from cafes to temples we have a lot of choices if we want to hangout close to our university.
