Remarks
Motilal Nehru College is good. The infrastructure and academics of the College are great. Value for money is worth it. But placement is not as good as other colleges. The admission procedure is both merit and entrance basis but mostly courses on a merit basis. Motilal Nehru College is situated on the main south campus and the location of the college is great and campus life is amazing.
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm pursuing a BA programme in English and Economics combination. This course is good as it provides knowledge of 2 subject combination. Faculty and quality of teaching are great as teachers are well qualified, experienced, and supportive.
Internships Opportunities
Yes. The college offers internship opportunities and the placement cell of Motilal Nehru College is active. It provides info on different types of internships. There are paid as well as non-paid internships in different profiles like HR, social media marketing, digital marketing, NGO, etc. with an impressive stipend. Basically, they give tasks and Students will have to do that task in a given deadline.
Placement Experience
The placement of Motilal Nehru College is not so good. Only 20-30% of students get placed every year. Most of the students not taking Placement because of the low package and only a few reputed companies visit in college. The highest package offered is Rs.5-6 LPA and the lowest is 2-3 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of Motilal Nehru College is great as the fees are too low. There is good value for money as my course worth Rs.7k which is very low and absolutely nothing. There are different types of scholarships for students in which they can enroll and get the scholarship. There are on-campus placement as well as off-campus placement. And students can also do a paid internship which provides a lot of knowledge and help in boost their CV as well.
Campus Life
Campus life is amazing with nice crowd. It's near other 2-3 colleges. Phoenix is the cultural fest and kaafila is the annual fest of Motilal Nehru College. There are a huge library and a large playground. There are different types of co-curricular activities and societies to get in and sports facilities are good here. Meanwhile, many events are organized on campus by different clubs and societies makes campus life fun.
