Remarks

The college management is very polite and kind. Overall, I think that I finally know why it is one of the top colleges. It has made such a positive impact on me and given me the confidence to face the real world. It has taught me that being timid and shy

Entrance Preview

The first cut off was 97.5%. I choose this one because the college is fantastic and among the top colleges of the country.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose the BA Hons and they required a minimum 66% percent attendance. I didn't have to study a lot and the teachers taught in the most exciting way. The course books were available at cheap prices as well.

Internships Opportunities

I actually got offered by a lot of companies, Many of which are high paying jobs. I took a job near Sainik Farm's as they pay a lot and the working hours are flexible.

Placement Experience

4

Some of the recruiters include Standard Chartered Bank, Indian Express, Google, Ernest and Young, Max New York Life Insurance Company, Wipro etcThey offer handsome payments even for interns and people earn a basic 5 digit income per year in a year.

College Events

4.5

The college has many guests but the most famous fest is called tempest. This three

Fees and Financial Aid

Physically disabled students and some students belonging to the socially backward classes are offered scholarships on the time of admission. DU charges minimal fee but fee concessions are also given at times.

Campus Life

4

Although the college is under Delhi University, there are a healthy number of students from other parts of India. A few foreign students are also seen in Miranda House. Overall the crowd is quite friendly. Being a ladies' college, you can expect some students coming from conservative backgrounds. But that doesn't mean that only because it's an only girl's college so girls are conservative, I'm a mirandian and I'm very open minded. I haven't faced any issues regarding sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity.

Hostel Facilities

5

The food is now, exotic and it is at reasonable price The hostel fees are now 48000 which is very easily available. The hostel seats are few so sometimes you merge a lot of girls together. Apart from the college fees, you only have to spend the hostel fe

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students were very nice to me. I have, although, seen a few times when my friends were ragged because of the type of clothes they wore or their color. But that's just an exception.

Exam Structure

The exams were not that frequent. We had intervals in between and we could just have some tea at the local tea stall. Sometimes, we even went out for lunch.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty was very kind and available at most of the times. They were available for help whenever you needed them. Some teachers gave extra scores according to the assignments provided.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit
