Remarks

I chose this college because my parents forced me to. I chose this course because someone recommended it to me. I I chose this university because again my parents forced me to. I don't like my college, course and university.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

The course syllabus is totally outdated. We need more practical experience. I wasn't provided enough industrial exposure. The faculties can't answer any questions even about the syllabus and surely are not educated enough.

Placement Experience

0.5

Although the entrepreneur cell is somewhat average, there is no real support from alumnae. There are no notable companies visiting the college, and there is no support for the students who just graduated.

College Events

0.5

The college doesn't focus on extracurricular activities and the principal openly admits that they are not important. There are some clubs and societies, but it is very obvious that they are only run for certificates.

Campus Life

1.5

The infrastructure is weak. We have college library but with limitation on which books we can read because they are for the faculty, and it is obvious even the faculty doesn't read it since they are so ignorant.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

The hostel is very lacking in facilities and the hostellers revolt and speak up about it frequently but nothing is done. The washing machines were old and did not work, we were not allowed to use the small dingy kitchen and the food is worst.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
