Remarks

Since I am from Delhi it was pretty much obvious for me to take admission in Delhi University,I also got the course of my choice History honours and I am planning to appear for civil services examination

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is pretty much updated and the faculty is also very knowledgable well versed with each and every topic, very helpful and always ready to help their students. My favourite faculty member is Dr. Richa Malhotra

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

Excellent companies like EY, Deloitte visit our college for recruitment process.But it is mainly for BCom honours and vocational courses. But I don??t know much about the placement sell of my college since I am only in second year.

College Events

In terms of extracurricular activities my college is the best.Every second day we have end number of events in our college be it related to cultural or technical.Msoc, Econox hold a lot of events. These events are varied sometimes huge,grand events and sometimes small events only for the college students and we usually get a very good/ active participation for them.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is pretty well, the red brick walls being the most attractive, the sports facilities range from basketball, volleyball, football etc.the size of the library is pretty huge equipped with good number of books

Insight over college campus.

Placement Experience:

From the last semester 6th students becoming eligible for the placement. Many companies like whipro visited and the maximum salary is 23lpa and average is 5lpa. I'm in the first yr so I don't have much idea about placement. I'll prepare for the Civil Services.

South Campus Life at SBSC

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose political science because i want to go for government exams and political science is an important subject for clearing government exams As per my info, my curriculum is very close to syllabus for exams like UPSC and SSC For improving teaching methods, projectors should be installed and implemented as it helps us to understand and see it more better The frequency of exam is twice a year as semester exam, and exam is not very tough nor too easy, it is medium level that anyone can score good marks if studied well.

Students are eligibility to sit in the placement from 5th semester and there are various companies who visited my college such as KPMG, Deloitte, Reliance, magicpin, etc. and number of offers they made were not explicitly disclosed by college and highest package was around 25 lakhs and average package is around 5 lakhs or 4 lakhs depends upon course to course and profile offered are finance, audit, digital marketer, etc. and around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
