Course Curriculum Overview

5

There are various aspects which influenced my decision to choose this course over other such as subjects like Western polity, foreign policy, etc. Basically my course is not a professional degree just like a BCom or Eco but it is enough to prepare for the real world applications and further academic persuits subjects like public policy, human rights provides deep knowledge. Even my courses ready to go but there are certain areas for improvement such as public policy must include little bit practical aspects and if the course curriculum will change the teaching methods will also change. There are two examination in a year and timing of examinations are 6 months each and it is a moderate level examination anyone who learn the subject can pass easily depends upon the mindset of the student.

Internships Opportunities

5

There are various companies who visited our college for the internships such as KPMG, Mahindra, Reliance, Zomato ,etc and rolls offered are marketing, finance, operations, etc and stipends usually depends from role to role and person to person but generally type ends are around 10000. the projects and outcomes are generally written on the internship description of the company.

Placement Experience

5

Students are eligibility to sit in the placement from 5th semester and there are various companies who visited my college such as KPMG, Deloitte, Reliance, magicpin, etc. and number of offers they made were not explicitly disclosed by college and highest package was around 25 lakhs and average package is around 5 lakhs or 4 lakhs depends upon course to course and profile offered are finance, audit, digital marketer, etc. and around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees which I paid in the college is around 20170 as such there is no bifurcation in the fees even this single time payment include tuition fees, caution fees, development fees and all the other charges except registration fees which will be paid during the exam time. The fees of my batch mats who belongs from the categories other than me such as SC, ST are generally same and no changes in fee structure. Thw name of a scholarship is national scholarship portal and amount of scholarship depends upon the person to person and family background.

Campus Life

5

And the name of the annual festival which held in my college is kalakriti and it will held in the month of March or April depends upon the availability. We have diversity range and accessibility of books and journals available in the reading centre around we have 3000 + books and journals which is easily accessible. We have classrooms which includes dustbin, projector, ventilation facilities etc. We have diverse range of a sports and extra curricular activities which is available in our college such as cricket, music, dance, fine arts, etc. we have different social groups and societies run by students such as NSS, NCC, etc which have great and positive impact on the life of the students and their circle is always ready to help and guide students in whatever capacity students want.

Admission

I applied for other colleges such as BHU and Allahabad University and I got confirmed admission from there but I choose this college over others because of the course which I get here. No, I didn't get rejection from any other college. Han basically admission process is through csas portal which is common seat allocation system and eligibility is 12th Plus and exam accepted accepted is cuet which is common University entrance test even this test is most preferred by students and the cutoffs for the general category is around 720 or 7:30 out of 800 and the my overall experience is satisfying.

Faculty

5

We have 1 teacher on 70 students the faculty to student relation ship is quite good and faculties are always ready to help and guide the students in some capacities and faculties are easily approachable and always ready to guide the students. Another name of faculty is which I like much is this faculty of constitution and the reason why I like him because of his teaching style and making the complex things into the simpler ones. I think faculty of political science includes constitution, foreign policy, etc. The name of faulty which I didn't like little bit is the faculty of Western polity because he is just explain the things without any justification. There are two exams in 1 year and it is moderate to pass and there are very few students who failed to clear the examination and most of the pass the examination and it is basically relevant to our course curriculum and prepare us for further academic degrees.

Night Life

5

We do not have any Gym but have canteens, reading centre, etc. we do not have any hostel facilities and campus timing is 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. There are various hangout places around the college such as DLF select citywalk, parks, food points, gardens etc. We also have locality safe to roam available in the ground.

Course Curriculum Overview:

British classics, Indian writing, postcolonial literature builds a strong foundation in literary analysis, critical thinking, and interpretation, which are useful skills. As for comprehensiveness, the curriculum is quite broad. It covers multiple literary periods, genres, and critical theories over the three years, so you’re not really missing out on the essentials. In that sense, it feels academically complete. But sometimes, it leans more towards breadth over depth you move quickly from one topic to another.

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The curriculum was overall good and being a economics honours courses it was challenging at times. The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
