Likes
- Firstly I would say is the location of our college as it is probably the best seat of Delhi where our college is located.
- Secondly i would probably go with the faculties of our college as they are just great and are like a boon.
- Thirdly I would say our university DSEU as it has induced such a fine college under its name.
Dislikes
- Attendance is way strict for teen aged students that some students fail just because they don't have the required attendance.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum for mechanical was probably as good as final engineering content. It was tough and at the same time too demanding. We have to be good at many things be it theory subjects or taking the practicals seriously as both of them held their values.
Internships Opportunities
Bhel, Ircon and many other companies offers internships to us. Bhel, Haridwar is where I got the opportunity to intern and stay and a stipend of 8000 was paid to some 30 students of our class. So, it's because of our college name that we got to intern there.
Placement Experience
It's like MNCs and PSU sector both have combined to ensure that students from our college gets quality jobs. Yes, the placements packages aren't that great but at least diploma holders getting jobs is itself a big thing.
Fees and Financial Aid
Myself Sunny Aggarwal in the second year diploma at PUSA Institute of Technology. Our fees for diploma three year course is 16000 and it is constant for few years now. Scholarships aisa are there but with this fees which already looks like a subsidised fees, it is great that we still have all the required facilities that we probably could ask for.
Campus Life
Our college has an event called Millenia and some portion of the campus was demolished as new blocks are coming. Currently there are a few blocks and hardly any sports facilities. However, we have great labs and also there are like seperate rooms with machines and stuffs to ensure that we learn everything that comes under Mechanical engineering.
Admission
There's an entrance for PUSA College and we have to pass that. For all those who think that diploma is easy should check our college. One has to be over 75% in 10th and then the entrance, so both are calculated and combining a combination admissions happens here.
Faculty
Our faculties of the college for mechanical department are themselves doctors of the subject. So, imagine top class professors paying heeds to our demands and questions and on the top of that managing the teenage students. One thing about them that they didn't gave us an inch of margin in the classes because they were always on top of us.
Night Life
It's the heart and that is Karol Bagh, from metro commuting, to bus stops, it is all available here. When it comes to entertainment there are two malls and foodcourts as well. Even gym and cafes are top class in our area.
