From Classrooms to Circuits, PUSA

Likes

Technical education is accessible due to its reasonable and affordable fees structure.
Knowledgeable and encouraging instructors who prioritized the development of practical knowledge and skills.
Moderate Placement assistance from businesses that occasionally stop by the campus.

Dislikes

Sports facilities needs to upgrading for better student satisfaction and also there is no canteen available.
Some classrooms and the labs are required to renovation or better maintenance and moderation also the library is very small.
Less number of practical labs and industry exposure to the students. they only feed the most theory knowledge

Placement Experience:

starting in the the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement assistance. companies like Maruti Suzuki, NTPC, Tcs, Wipro The Highest package in my batch was a 6LPA package offer by Exicom company. and the average package is just around the 3-3.5 LPA. Mostly for technical and maintenance roles. Mostly job profiles are Junior Engineer, Technician, Support Engineer.

College life and college review!

Likes

I liked the students of the my batch because they are very helpful each other
I also liked some teachers because they believe in practical knowledge
I also liked campus because there is no ragging

Dislikes

The watering system of the college which is very bad in summer
Many teachers not do their work with responsibility
There is also no equipment that we should use in practicals

Placement Experience:

As our college very old so the college is very popular to the many companies which is come to our college and take test of the students and got the job to the students which is fulfilled Thier criteria.

Pusa Institute of Technology is a Passion College!!

Likes

College with sense of style and sence of civic sense. Both are in abundance here as
Students are mostly teenager so one thing that we are taught here is how to be Chad kr Sigma in this competitive world.
Suddenly after 10th going such tough is not easy as course is lengthy plus very tough and new to us but teaching is such that it doesn't affect us.

Dislikes

Even though it's Co-ed, 90% of students are boys and I hope the thing turn around soon.

L&T to Government companies which have interest in civil works come to our college for junior roles. Sone roles which are equally important in civil companies but B.Tech students because they feel lesser, our course students become handy choice for such companies.

Firstly I would say is the location of our college as it is probably the best seat of Delhi where our college is located.
Secondly i would probably go with the faculties of our college as they are just great and are like a boon.
Thirdly I would say our university DSEU as it has induced such a fine college under its name.

Dislikes

Attendance is way strict for teen aged students that some students fail just because they don't have the required attendance.

It's like MNCs and PSU sector both have combined to ensure that students from our college gets quality jobs. Yes, the placements packages aren't that great but at least diploma holders getting jobs is itself a big thing.

PUSA Institute of Technology is Pivotal!!

Ab entrance for admission here making it competitive than ever.
Learning facilities are top class as our classrooms are cool and labs are facilitated with a lot of facilities.
College is located in the top area of Delhi which is Karol Bagh.

Dislikes

No events and no fests and this is indeed a setback for students like us.

For electrical engineering our college is the best for placements as many MNCs also come here. Also, placements are like 100% and that too with an average placements of 35-45k a year. My plan is to give my best in which ever company we goes.

PIT is very very Pretty!!

Remotely located college and hence one thing which is guaranteed is peace at Pusa Institute of Technology.
Every semester we have 5 theory and 3 practical subjects as practicals are given more importance.
Amenities at our college are next level as best labs to learn the practical applications.

Dislikes

Our college don't have any fests and all and this i fee should be mandatory for all colleges.

Our department and rather all departments excluding Mechanical have the same ratio as around 70-75% students are placed from our campus. I thought have decided to go for full engineering as I want to be a complete engineer before I start my career.

PUSA is better than most!!

Look out college needs no introduction when it comes to skill developing programs that it hosts and that's the best part of our college that I like.
We are always taught that either it's a learning or a winning, so until we won the learning shouldnt be stopped is what we are taught.
Our infrastructure is small but as they say has everything for each and every department as no department has been left out.

Dislikes

Some students make too many noises and also spread negative words about college in public.

Mechanical department seen nearly 90-95% placements last year and it is inching towards thag 100% mark. Mechanical engineers are in demand and will always be in demand in a country which is still developing. So, many companies not just who are into infra projects or refineries but also who serves the capital goods sector, hires students from our college and especially mechanical branch students.

PUSA is a peculiar college!!

Polytechnic college as this is how our college is referred as should know that our college imparts skills in us like no other college.
For career we are guided right from the first semester and that is why most students from our college gets job easily.
If it is said that Indian education system lacks with more theory and less practical our college is among those which has reversed that.

Dislikes

Campus is quite small as 6 departments and over 1000 students and just 2 academic block is quite few in my eyes.

Almost 70 or rather 75% students had the offer letter from the campus after doing just the diploma. Average for diploma in Civil engineering stands at 4 lakhs as of now and by next year, we have been told that it might reach 5 lakhs or beyond.

PUSA is fantastic!!

Likes

Everything in my college is appreciable from top library to top labs, we have them all.
Faculties are the best source of knowledge here and this is where I felt that our college has done its best in getting the best Gurus for us.
Out course is dynamic and teaches us a little less than engineering but teaches all skills of engineering for sure.

Dislikes

I think the location as PUSA is not well connected to other parts of Delhi.

Students here are elegible right from the word go as in the final year of our diploma, we get to sit for companies placements. We are looked upon as juniors and roles are offered likewise. Hence, my plan is to engineering post my Diploma ends and I will chose one of the top colleges for that as we are prepared for that too.

PIT is a mighty institute!!

Polytechnic or the diploma courses are never glorified but at PUSA Institute of Technology, we actually enjoy that more than ever.
Our campus has at least 4-5 labs for our department and we have most of our classes there.
At 16, having a professional development is impossible but at PUSA it is imperative that we will have that at all cost.

Dislikes

Some of the faculties as they are too harsh and sometimes even insults us as well.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are must here as we may not have higher degrees like other engineering college students. But we are younger and more enthusiastic and also we have the skillsets which has been taught to us at our college. A salary of 30 to 40 thousand is offered to us at the initial placements from our college.
