Remarks

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya is the second best college for BMS in DU. Its infrastructure, placements, faculty and administration have made a name for itself in DU. The reason I chose BMS was mainly because of my interest in Management and the exclusivity of the course. It is the only course in DU that requires an entrance test and that is what drove me to pursue it.

Course Curriculum Overview

BMS has one of the best course curriculum in the university with subjects ranging to all aspects of management. The faculty was satisfactory with some teachers a little more dedicated than the others. The course also requires a compulsory internship in the second year which gives industry exposure.

Internships Opportunities

I did an unpaid internship at Punjab National Bank as a Credit Analysis Intern.

Placement Experience

3

The college has average placements with a low number of companies coming to college. There are some alumnus who help to give referrals in good companies like Mckinsey and Better.com. Other than that, companies like Genpact, BYJUs, Tresvista, De Shaw etc. Some of the children have also started some startups which are in their initial stages.

College Events

4

The colleges has lots of extra curricular activities, ranging from department fests and society fests. The college has numerous societies like debating, dramatics, literature etc. The college has different fests for these societies as well. The colleges doesn't have a cultural fest every year which is a problem.

Campus Life

DDUC has one of the best infra in DU. It has a 3 floor library with lots of books, a wifi separate for faculty and students. All the classrooms are air conditioned. The college also has a indoor badminton court and table tennis tables. It also has parking for students and faculty too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose political science because i want to go for government exams and political science is an important subject for clearing government exams As per my info, my curriculum is very close to syllabus for exams like UPSC and SSC For improving teaching methods, projectors should be installed and implemented as it helps us to understand and see it more better The frequency of exam is twice a year as semester exam, and exam is not very tough nor too easy, it is medium level that anyone can score good marks if studied well.
