Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for BTech food and technology which is a four years course and 60 seeds where available. The course structure is good and it focuses on the research. We have exams and lab hours frequent and that they does not leave us tired and it's a quite fun to be in the college.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement cell of this colleges still working to get better placements and recruiters from the companies and it would surely succeed in doing that. The students usually go for the walk in interviews for job mail as for the job and get highly paid jobs as well. The college will get good placements once it becomes an autonomous college. the students of this college succeed in every field they go for because they are highly intellectual in their studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I opted for BTech food and technology which is a very different course especially for the BTech students. Every course fee different from each other excluding the admission fee and breakage charges. As a belong to the general quota I had to pay 69830 rupees. They also offer the facility of scholarships and installment payments which makes the payment easier for some economically unstable students.

Campus Life

The college conducts various extra curricular activities for the students which makes the learning easy. If extracurricular activities are not there the studies will become boring and dull. The college organises different sports programs annual functions NCC and also (NSS): It is a youth programme run by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & sports, Government of India.

Admission

Ghani khan Institute of engineering and technology was established in the year 2010. To get an admission in this college one has to qualified 10 + 2 from a good school. I also qualified my JEE mains exam and Ghani khan Institute of engineering and technology entrance test. We can also apply online and offline.

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.
