- The faculties members are very supportive, sometimes you feel they are very strict but along with time it becomes habitual and enjoyable
- The classroom, departments are well good and well equipped with the apparatus and instruments
Dislikes
- The classroom doesn't have a sound and mic system which will irritate you alot initially. Try to buy your sound system for class by contribution from your batchments
- Lecture are being held in English and bengali. Sometimes completely bengali
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything
Internships Opportunities
We have the internship during our last year of course in our college and associated hospital . We have to treat the patient and for that we get a stipened of 30,000 per month approx which is quite good comparing colleges of other state
Fees and Financial Aid
Total academic fee per year is 6572. And the hostel fees are very less approx 1000 per annum . The fee structure is same for all categories and no scholarship is provided by the college. But there are other scholarship which you can apply if you are west bengal resident i.e Swami vivekanand merit cum means means scholarship.
Campus Life
Saraswati Puja in January Impulse during mid year And some more which even I hadn't explored The library has almost all the books and it's timing are till 6.00 pm. The campus doesn't include a ground of its own . But we had a large ground just at a distance of 200 m
Admission
For getting an admission first you have to appear in NEET UG Exam . And after that you can appear in the counselling conducted by WBMCC or the MCC . The counselling is quite long and sometimes it feels irritating as it's rescheduling again and again.
Faculty
The number of faculties are quite high . All faculties are best . Anatomy ones are quite strict but supportive so beware during osteology and dissection. During 1st year -2 semester the lastly the main one 1st prof exam
Night Life
The area around the college is semi urban . Although you can find many restaurants and cafes around . Midnapore district has a good connectivity so you can easily go for better places to visit within an hour Bombay cineplex for movie 8 km Gardens , biological parks . About the nights I don't much assuming it's safe till 1 am .
