Midnapore Medical College at a glance

Aspects are not specific for deciding the course for me , I want to serve people, I think doctor profession is great responsibility and novel profession which influence me all time , so I want to give the satisfaction to the helpless eye to the patient family after treating them well

I previously said last one year of mbbs , all students must have to do internship where we get stipend money , and interesting fact is we will do internship in same hospital and there is another good hostel for intern

In 5.5 years after 4.5 years there is a one year mandatory internship and you will get some stipend money, and after completion you stay as a house staff of the college, so don't get tension about placement

The fees for studying MBBS in govt medical College in India is very less, around 51k for 54 month ie yearly 10k , but there also have non academic fees like books, tablets, gadgets, bone set, u can get scholarship if you Studying in west bengal, swami vivekanand merit cum means scholership give 60k per year, and also u can apply for some private scholership like GSK ffe scholership and others

There are some fest named "plasma" , festival held and we all enjoy this , also the campus is awesome. Inside college the central Library is very large and property study zone available, many medical journals of West Bengal health University is available, easily accessible library card available, there are some intercollege competition, sports occurs, we all students interact each other in many social groups, whatsapp group.

In a sentence, hostel is best , fees inr 12 per month, no meal system, two hostel canteen available, and food is very good with affordable price, allotment process is very simple, contact to Hostel comittee members give a application with I'd proof and income certificate. Allotment process is strictly based on distance and income of parents, and first come first serve , there are so many good pg for staying, obviously beside medical College

Actually I got this college based on merit through the rank I scored in neet ug 2024 , and also I didn't disappoint about my college, it's one of the best , the admission process is held by medical councelling board of West Bengal and the procedure is perfect

Faculty to student ratio is good , all departments are available, every faculty is very good , we easily interact with professors for academic purposes, they set good exams paper and the study is relevant to the cbme curriculum

Unfortunately there is no gym in campus, but in the area there are so many, in Hostel there some Indoor game conditions available, no restriction present in hostel , canteen food is delicious and affordable. The locality is safe for all , and always busy area, there are so many places for hangout but I didn't check any
