Review about my alma matter

The environment of our college is very much student friendly. Sometimes I think, our college management needs to be more strict.

Yes, the course curriculum and exam structure is fair and relevant. Our course consists of 9 semesters and 4 professional exams. These exams make us enough confident to fulfill our dreams. At last, the year of internship makes us more confident. All the students are capable of becoming a successful doctor.

Yes, I am now pursuing my 1 year compulsory internship of my course. After graduation, all of our students become capable to do a government job.

There are 3 main functions in our college-freshers, cultural festival and teacher's day programme. In freshers, the new students of 1st year exhibit their talents on stage. In cultural fest, there are various prefest programmes like creative writing, instant act, instant speech, debate, extempore, treasure hunt, mediquiz, general quiz etc and on the days of cultural festival, whole college remain in a festive mood. There are various types of programmes performed on the stage. In teacher's day programme 'Swabhiman' various cultural programmes are performed.

Our fee structure is feasible. Per semester our fee is Rs 4500/- and hostel fee per month Rs 12/-. We pay this fee in bank and show the receipt to student section. No additional fees is required. The college provides complete transparency in the fee-breakdown.

I have not opted for any scholarship. My college offered scholarship for those who are from poor families and for sc, st and obc students. I was not eligible for it.

There are 70 boys and 30 girls in our batch. We live a healthy life here. We can enjoy our friendship to the fullest in our campus. The latenight 'adda's act as a stress buster in our lives. There is no division among students about religion, race and ethnicity. We all live here as a family. There are so much extracurricular activities in our college-indoor games, outdoor games, drama, quiz, debate and many other programmes.

Yes. We stay 2 persons in a hostel room. Rooms are quite well, the bathrooms are well maintained. Sometimes there is a problem of drinking water. Otherwise there is no such problem. The corridors are cleaned every morning.

The college seniors are very much helpful. From giving books to marking the importants before exam, they help a lot. Many seniors become like elder brother or sister to us.

From the childhood I had a dream of becoming a doctor. I have got admission through wbjee exam 2015. After the 1st round of counselling, l got admitted in this college. After my admission it's environment impressed me so much that I never thought of changing my college in next steps of counselling.

The faculties are very much satisfactory. From the very first year, the faculties of various departments have taught us with utmost care. From dissection in anatomy and slide preparation in physiology to the practical long case of medicine and surgery-almost every topic has been taught in a proper manner.
