Remarks
For Admission to this college students have to appear at NEET-UG. After 2 to 3 months of exam result is declared by NTA. At first, the All India Rank is published, and then the State rank by the respective state. Then thorough state-level counseling admission is done. This is for 85 percent of the seats and the next 15 percent is done through all India counseling with all India rank into consideration. For state quota, one must have a state domicile certificate or permanent resident certificate.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the course because it's my dream to be a medicine specialist doctor to serve my nation. The course is not so easy one needs to study a lot. Now if the exam structure is considered it is having a semester every 6 months and at the end of the year there is a professional exam considered as the final exam of that year. My class has around 156 students and in each department, there are around 25 faculty. All faculty are already passed out doctors. They teach us on a projector and whiteboard. The faculty of our college is really good and they are definitely qualified and experienced enough to teach us. Though there are some exceptions enough as we see very often in every college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are very feasible, it is 6500 rs for each semester and 12 rs per month for hostel accommodation and other expenses like books are very costly. We do get a scholarship from the government and NGOs. I get a scholarship worth rs 30k per year from the ministry of the minority. Some students also get a scholarship of 40k from NGOs like FFE INDIA TRUST.
Campus Life
The annual fest is conducted during November. Most medical books, magazines, and newspapers are easily available in the library. The gender ratio of our batch is nearly 1to 1. Our college life is just fun. We spend good times with batchmates, juniors, and seniors. Our college is very liberal about its political view and we don't have any political issues. Many students are involved in social groups like NMO.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are very clean. I stay in a double bedroom. In each, there are 5 bathrooms and 5 toilets. Water and electricity are available 24 hours. The hostel is allowed from the administrative block. Foods in the mess are of average quality, they provide meals 3times a day. Nearby PG and rent rooms are easily available but the cost is very high.
